I'm not saying you can't get any fun out of them, and that nobody likes them (the thing has sold more than 50 million units). What I'm saying is that I don't like it, and a lot of good games could have been better if they were made for real consoles instead. Patapon, my favorite PSP franchise, would make for a perfect PSN download on PS3.
I wanted to try FFVII:CC, but never had the chance. I owned and liked GoW:CoO, which you didn't list. The only Kingdom Hearts I care about is Kingdom Hearts 3. I think MGS:PW is wasted on the PSP, instead of being on the PS3 where MGS5 (because that's what it is) belongs.

I'll play devil's advocate, since I do kinda agree that the PSP is a waste of space. The PSP Go being a waste of space squared. I owned a PSP for about a year, and the best thing to come from it was Patapon 2. Other than that, it really only provided me with hand/wrist/arm (yes even arm) pain when trying to use the poor excuse of an analog nub they slap on that fingerprint magnet.
Traded it for $50 and BlazBlue (PS3). Worth it all day long.
360 controllers have better triggers, but that's why most FPS have R1 mapped for shooting on PS3. I much prefer the symmetrical design of the DualShock controllers (analog placement is piss-poor on the 360 controller IMO), and I do have big hands myself. Big enough to comfortably handle the original Xbox's bear claw of a controller. The only time I had a hard time playing with a DualShock was after 3 years of only playing PC games, and at that point I think any controller would have been a...
They wouldn't reproduce Kratos properly. I'm sure they'd eventually make him merciful in a ploy to create the appearance of a hero for the consuming masses, which goes against his entire persona.
Kratos is raw antihero, and sometimes even borderline villain. He is unrelentingly brutal and violent on a staggering level, towards innocents and enemies alike. That's why he's one of my favorite characters of any medium, but that's also why he wouldn't work for a mainstream movie. ...
Exactly. UT, their best franchise, doesn't even work well on consoles. Even with PS3 mod support it failed. That's almost like saying they should buy Valve because they've ported some of their games to the 360.
You can really tell who just started gaming on the 360 when you see people talking about Gears as Epic's claim to fame.

I thought the ending as it is now was pretty solid. I've read some criticisms, but I liked it. An epilogue would be welcome, though.

Yes, trade-off. I think Uncharted 2 is still better in many parts of the environment. More detailed textures and such. I've watched about 6 hours of GoW3 in "HD" (YouTube style HD), and while it achieves some moments I'd consider on par with CGI, it also has the occasional poor environmental texture, which I never saw in UC2.

It's a trade-off between God of War III and Uncharted 2 at the moment. There are some areas in which each one excels over the other.
