Don't be surprised by Rising only showing up at Microsoft's E3 event, and them getting the exclusive ad rights when the game comes out. There will likely be a bundle too. It's the standard "please believe this is only on 360" package. Did the same thing with RE5 and FFXIII.
I don't think there's enough nudity. An M rating can let you decapitate and mangle an endless amount of spawning people if you want (depending on the game), but if you try to show some real nudity... BAM! AO! All we get now are boobs, and they're not usually in any sort of abundance. Gay Tony had full frontal male in a cutscene, but I can't think of any other to do that, or any non-AO game at all to do full frontal female.
It's completely absurd when yo...
I got lost on the Citadel in ME1. I felt trapped on the Citadel in ME2.
It's been like this since the new site launched. I'd say at least half of pending are dupes at any given moment, and usually they're approved because people just wanna clear that mess out.
The lack of exploration really bothers me too. The cities were completely gutted in ME2, and even when you finally did get a vehicle for planetary exploration via DLC, they only allowed you to use it in linear maps.
Yeah, Fallout 3 was a technical abomination, like all games on that engine. Totally awesome, though. Well worth suffering through its technical flaws. Same with Mass Effect. Has a framerate worse than all bad PS3 ports combined, but it's an amazing game.
As far as Alpha Protocol goes... It doesn't look as good as the other 2 I mentioned. Not even close. Sometimes a turd is just a turd.
I played ME2 first, and I enjoyed the crap out of it. After that, I bought ME1 and thought "where was all this RPG in ME2"? All of my friends who loved ME1 always said they were colossally disappointed with ME2, and I finally understood why after playing both.
ME2 was a TPS played through a series of hallways in comparison to ME1. You still had the choice to pick which hallway to go down first, but it hardly makes up for it. The only area it expanded in were the...
Bought 2 360 games recently, Platinum Hits, regular cases. Those "eco" cases look pretty weak.
I think that's what they're doing too. Gauge the sticker shock at a ridiculous "leaked" price, so when a slightly lower official price is announced later, it makes people look at it more positively.
Yeah, why would they do that with some dumb 3rd party like EA, or SquareEnix and Konami? We all know Microsoft doesn't waste time with multiplats at their conferences, and NEVER tries to rub everyone's nose in it when a previously exclusive Sony developer starts working on the 360. The audacity of some people to imply such things... Disgraceful.
Agreed. I'm sure Microsoft tried to get them to play the shoulder-tapping Judas routine at their E3 conference.
I was JUST thinking about this today while playing ME2, and how I hoped they wouldn't try to do it with ME3.
I love how the new site has been up for a couple weeks now and not a single person has 4 bubbles, yet plenty of people have 1 or 2. This community is awful.
That's pretty much where I'm at with all of this. If I wanted Natal, I would have bought one of Sony's cams sometime over the past several years. If I wanted Move, I would have bought a Wii. Gimme a standard controller and a couch, thanks.
I think they're seriously misjudging their fanbases, and it will likely bite both of them in their asses. The extent of the damage from said bite remains to be seen.
I dunno. Microsoft has built a gaming empire on overpriced items, but $150 for a cam? That's steep, even for them.
Another rave preview from another unknown site. The air is thick with shenanigans.
"Pachter said on the bonus round on gametrailers that so many Natal games are in development that studios had to push their games back to 2011 because the launch is so packed."
^ Fixed. Michael Pachter: 100% correct when enforcing your agenda.
Look, I hope Microsoft blows my friggin' socks off with Natal at E3. I hope it looks so good that I'd be willing to dump $1000 on it. The problem is that reality thus far has dictated quite the oppo...
What's with these unknown sites giving stellar Natal impressions? This isn't the first time it has happened. Can't even remember the name of the last one, but it was similarly obscure.
It's GameThirst. When they're not trying to steal GameTrailers' acronyms (GameThirst even claims they have something called GTTV), their site is either infected with malware or just crappy articles. Sometimes both.
I'm just hoping for an epic battle or two with all races against the Reapers, including the Rachni, since I saved their queen in ME1. The message I got in ME2 from the Rachni queen via Illium asari gave me hope for that in ME3.
