That green box is a real eyesore. The shade doesn't go well with the black in such abundance, maybe. Something about it just doesn't look right. The black box looks perfect.
It's a fight they can't win. They're fighting to prove parity, not even superiority, while on paper and from the mouths of numerous devs you hear nothing but "PS4 is more powerful". All the nonsensical tech-jumble Albert Penello can muster is only going to hurt his reputation and make the company look increasingly desperate.

I dunno about that one specifically, but it's definitely possible. Activision flew people out to Aspen to review one of the CoD games, and Ubisoft flew people out to Italy to review Ass Creed 2.
Their "exclusive preview" was pathetic. Romanticizing the act of picking up an AI partner at his apartment as some epic cinematic experience full of subtle brilliance. I bet Rockstar was even like... come on, son.
Game looks great, but IGN would say as much regardless. Just look at their 10/10 "exclusive review" for GTAIV that they spent 2 weeks negotiating with Rockstar.
I prefer 1 to 2, and I played 2 first so it's not based on nostalgia goggles. 3 had some excellent moments, but failed in a lot of ways, too. A lot of your actions seemed pointless, amounting to nothing but numbers on a database in your ship.

This was spotted months ago. Long before Microsoft announced they were canceling it (lol).
Not very important at all. The first week will consist mostly of filling pre-orders. The higher price for inferior tech and Microsoft's mountain of bad press they earned over the summer is more damaging to them than a week head start.
More like it's the decent thing to do, and users were getting royally screwed on the 360. Seems like Microsoft only gets applause for mercifully deciding to not totally bone their fanbase for another few years.
Blizzard games have been on consoles before. Seems like a lot of people either forgot this, or haven't been gaming long enough to know.
More TV, more sports, more traditionally-free things behind the paywall.
If everyone were pirating games on PC, it wouldn't be the platform that generates the majority of EA and Activision's revenue every year. Nor would Valve be doubling their profits year after year through Steam. Piracy is all too often the scapegoat of devs who made a bad game or otherwise screwed up their launch on PC.
Yeah, Albert treats Gaf like Reddit, thinking he can just PR BS his way into their hearts and minds. Unfortunately for him, some users on Gaf are smart enough to spot his nonsense when he posts it. I'm also somewhat surprised he hasn't been banned yet. I've seen mods make fun of other users who think he isn't just there as PR.

I liked it, but I haven't played it since they broke it on PC with that patch, and their following "fix" left a lot of things even more broken.
