@valkilmer
My oh my, much like your namesake, Val Kilmer, you sound like a worthless drunk.
You're wrong about the graphics. If the game reviews well it will sell very well.
I agree. There are far too many uneducated gamers out there who want everything for nothing. I have no problem with dlc done right, these games cost tens of millions of dollars to make, some even more, and we've all seen studios fold when these games fail. As long as the main campaign isn't stripped, what is the issue? Watch_Dogs looks to offer plenty of content. So some among us still feel that's not enough? 30-40 hours (or however much it turns out to be) is not enough? T...
I agree with almost everything you said. But the simple truth is that perception is reality in many instances in life. The perception of the xbone right now is that is is underpowered and overpriced. It's hard to counter that perception when every game that is available for both consoles performs better and looks better on your lower priced competitor. Perception becomes reality. So while I agree the xbone is selling well, that doesn't mean it is smooth sailing for Microsoft. Th...
I've got 3 reasons:
1. No year plus long launch advantage for Microsoft's console this time around.
2. No price advantage this time around.
3. No selling multiple consoles to the same consumers due to massive failure rates of the original console.
And I would add a fourth, which is Microsoft's inability to understand the issues the xbone faces, and address them properly, instead of continuing to talk about the cloud and dx12. Those things ...
I want to see an update on what the majority of Sony's first party developers are working on, not just Uncharted. Even if the games aren't ready for a gameplay reveal or trailer, Sony needs to let the fans know what is being worked on, and at least give concept to the games we know are being developed but don't even know titles or genres for those games yet. Sony arguably has the best first party devs on the planet, it's time to show what they are working on for PS4.
Good.
I agree. Whenever I see Destiny, I am reminded of my vanguard class Commander Shepard and the biotic abilities in Mass Effect.
I'm with ya...Watch_Dogs, Transistor, and Child of Light will keep me occupied right up to and through E3, which I am highly anticipating.
A racing game without night driving or weather effects is "the hottest"? You need help son. Seek it before it's too late.
@unbiasedopinions
Forza? You mean the new gen racer that still can't manage to offer night driving or dynamic weather effects? Some of you people have mental issues. You really have to feel sorry for them, they'll accept any ol' pile of crap and call it a success.
I think it's set for holiday release in the bizarro world.
Thank you for exhibiting logic and offering a measured response. Those two are in short supply in these forums.
I believe this is what they mean by firing on all cylinders.
The more I hear, the more I like.
That's the beauty of psplus....I've played so many games I normally wouldn't have tried and been introduced to different developers projects which in turn got me interested in their next project. Psplus really is a fantastic service.
I own a ps4 so I'm very excited to see what Sony brings to E3. We need to see what their phenomenal first party studios are working on in 2014, 2015, and beyond. I'm hoping Sony finally gives us the skittles colored controllers in the US....I want the blue one immediately. I will look at what Microsoft brings to E3 and see if the xbone is in my future for 2015 as well, as I've always owned multiple consoles but to this point haven't felt there was any real need to buy an xb...
So excited for this and Transistor. And Watch_Dogs. That's a pretty good pre-E3 plate to busy myself with.
If there is one thing Naughty Dog have proven over their 30 years in gaming, it's that they release nothing but quality products to the masses. I have no doubt that the departures mean a change in strategy for Uncharted 4. I have no doubt that the game will not release as soon as it might have without the departures. But I also have no doubt that whenever the game is released, it will be brilliant, because it's Naughty Dog. And they don't do anything less than the best. It...
If this game actually looks like this for PS4 it will bring me to tears. But after the tears come the bullets.
