I wouldn't say games never live up to the hype...it's more like the few that do manage to live up to the hype are more amazing because they didn't disappoint. I'm looking at you, The Last of Us. I'm seriously hyped for Far Cry 4, Arkham Knight, The Division, No Man's Sky, Bloodborne, The Order:1886, Ori, MGSV, The Witcher 3, Abzu, etc. etc. etc. Will they all live up to the hype? Probably not. But I'm betting more than a few certainly will...

Xbox only morons don't know gaming, all they know is call of doodie. I've always owned multiple systems, and currently own 360, ps3, and ps4. The games that have me most interested in possibly buying an xbone at some point are Ori, Below, and maybe Quantum Break. Indie games are some of the best and most innovative games out there in the market right now. To dismiss a game because it's from a small studio and doesn't feature dude bro's is beyon...

Up to a few days ago I wasn't sold at all on Destiny. But the more I see and the more feedback I hear about the game, the more it's seeming to be a must play game for me. And to mystic strummer and heisenburger...forget a moustache, I want a merkin!!

I doubt Hello Games will be indie for long. I fully expect Sony to secure them long term. The developer stated the game is coming to ps4 first, and they would like to do a pc version, but that is not certain. He wouldn't even mention xbox by name. That just doesn't happen in the games industry unless Sony has helped them along the way or may be in discussions about securing them exclusively. So reading between the tea leaves suggests to me Sony knows this game could be something ...

You got an agree from me guy. If, and it's a big if, but if No Man's Sky can deliver on what it is promising at this stage of development, it could be revolutionary for gaming in general and the way future games are developed. That is in no way a slight to Uncharted, which I fully expect to be incredible, it's just a testament to what No Man's Sky might offer.

I was a starting to get concerned, but what I've seen and heard at E3 restored my faith after Ground Zeroes failed to wow me.

I agree superman...but I think the white does look good but it would completely be an eyesore in my entertainment setup. Black is best.

You're giving Nintendo credit for showing games for their platform while in reality many 3rd parties aren't making games at all for Nintendo's console. Hard to give them credit for that. So while I agree Nintendo's conference was stellar and just what Nintendo fans wanted to see, you can't denigrate Sony or Microsoft for showing great 3rd party titles. Those are the games that usually move more copies than even 1st party exclusives, so why not show the...

The Division is a tactical RPG. 60fps is not a neccessity, but a luxury. 30fps will be just fine.

I love everything I see about The Division, but I'm still waiting to see what this game will look like running on PS4 and Xbone. The look of Far Cry 4 and Assassin's Creed Unity, both from Ubi, gave me great hope.

When you consider that Sony usually reserves a good bit of content for Gamescom and TGS, the conference was stellar. I was well pleased.

Man some of these games are looking very good, with interesting storylines. Just what I like.

I just woke up. Is it 2015 yet? What a great write up for this title we know so little about...very interesting.

I don't think there NEEDS to be a female assassin, but that doesn't mean having the option to play as one would be a bad thing. Games need to be more inclusive, and there are many female gamers who would love to play as a woman assassin. There are many male gamers who wouldn't mind it either, including me. I was hoping character customization would become more the norm this gen, where the ability to change the race or gender of the main character would be the norm...

Very good games shown, lagged heavy in the middle, but what a finish!! Sony whet my appetite, I'm now looking forward to Gamescom and TGS for more deliciousness.

You don't know Naughty Dog. Underestimate the dogs ability at your own peril. Me? I'm heavily anticipating hopping back into TLOU late July, in all it's 1080p 60fps glory. Don't be Left Behind.

We are starting to truly see what is possible for ps4/xbone. I'm exciting for so many games I saw at E3. In my opinion it was a very good showing from Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. 2015 is looking like a banner year for gamers. So many games, so little time.

I'm still on the fence about Destiny. I was never a fan of Halo, because the gunplay felt very flat and the weaponry had no weight or heft. When I fire a large caliber weapon, I'd like to feel the kick, instead many times with Halo I felt more like I'd just fired off a round from a 22 Winchester. I'm not seeing much change in that formula for Destiny. And your little companion that gives you insight, information, and does some hacking for you....the voice is annoying to me...

Here's a little math lesson for you...
More games > Less games. The equation works every time. Imagine that.
