>So naturally, the people have to speak out, express themselves and correct their misinformation, brain washing and lies.
Microsoft has managed to piss off just about everyone possible with Kinetic:
1. Nintendo fans - 4 years late to the motion control party and they are suddenly trying act like they are an innovator
2. Xbox fans - Can you imagine the reaction you would have gotten five years ago when the Xbox 360 launched and you showed ...
Wow.
The fact that you are still trying to spread that silly little lie just shows how bitter you still are Sony and Blu-Ray kicked Toshiba and Microsoft's HD-DVD to the trash heap of dead and failed formats.
That would be incredible.
Certainly makes sense given Sony and Google's current work together on Google TV hardware.
If your online service can't get the most fundamental features of online play right it isn't even worth mentioning:
1. Free online for every single player so you never have to worry about who is and isn't currently paying the silly online fees
2. Dedicated servers for all major competitive games for lagfree online play and huge game sizes.
PC gamers and developers understand this.
Sony and PS3 owners understand this.
"Microsoft has a good network that is reliable. Anytime I want to get on Xbox Live I don't have a problem. PSN is another story I've had plenty of times where I wasn't able to get on, or I could get on but the connection was so terrible I couldn't play the game."
Yes, just like all of a sudden when the RRoD fiasco broke out every Xbox owner suddenly wanted to talk about how their PS2 'died five times'.
Sony and Microsoft'...
"Is because Microsoft knows you will pay for it, and that you will keep paying for it "
That's not true.
Microsoft has no choice but to force Xbox owners to pay for online. Microsoft has no ability to design and create console hardware efficiently and cheaply since they have to rely on third party companies for their hardware. Unlike Sony who is a consumer electronics giant and can build console hardware that is both insanely powerful yet still ...
@Comet
Yes, if you look at everything we know:
1. Sony switched to actual sales to consumers back in 2006
2. That switch is noted right there in the Sony official quarterly reports
3. Nintendo did the same in 2006 and stated so
4. Microsoft has never publicly talked about the subject
5. Going all the way back to the first year where Microsoft claimed to have 'sold' 10.5 million 360s, ...
"They were 44.5 million. Greenberg says they've sold 45 million. So, if Greenberg is to be believed, they've sold more 360's to customers then they've shipped?"
It is one thing for fanboy sites like vgchartz to play silly games like that, but for an exec from a console company is just embarrassing.
Microsoft must have been in a total panic to rush this damage control out so quickly. Greenburg was in such a panic that he didn't ta...
"Ill be the first to correct you. Both companies report shipped, not sold"
It is right in Sony's official quarterly reports that they only report actual sales.
They even have notes when they reference pre-2006 sales noting that they have been adjusted down to match their switch to actual sales to consumers.
This is the problem with lying about sales for Microsoft.
So Major Nelson inadvertently talks about the actual Xbox 360 sales, 42 million, and now Greenburg has to rush out and do damage control with his 44 million shipped number.
Sony:
41.5 million sold
44 million shipped
Microsoft:
42 million sold
44.5 million shipped
2.5 million consoles still waiting to be actually bought by consumers.
This is the problem about lying. Everyone has to be on board.
LOL! A Call of Duty Kiddie.
Go back to your POS arcade shooter.
Immortal Kaim, go right ahead and post your links to a major gaming site like gamesradar falling all over themselves in desperation to trash a Xbox 360 game...
Should be easy. Right? After all it's just 'delusional' fanboys who think it is only their console's exclusives.
You can put every other post in this story to shame. Just go right ahead. We're waiting...
You should be able to quickly and easily come up with a major gaming site doing somethin...
Oh god!
"It doesn't get a free ride because it looks amazing. No one gets a free ride on one element of the equation. "
Someone was dumb enough to try to pass off the tired old "Yeah it looks 'pretty', but what about teh gameplay" troll as their comment.
How pathetic.
"LOL, even the PSP has a better lineup than the Xbox 360...."
I think everyone who has been watching the PSP 2009 release list has been thinking the same thing but doesn't want to say it outloud for fear of getting banned for saying something so taboo.
LocoRoco 2
Prinny - Can I Really Be The Hero
Patapon 2
Phantasy Star Universe
Final Fantasy: Dissidia
Ushiro - From Level 5 the Jeanne d’Arc makers
PS3 price cut + PS3/PSP bundle would be insane and make 2009 year of Sony beyond any doubt.
It would be nice if Sony actually started letting the general gaming public know just how incredible the PS3/PSP combo is.

Killzone 2 hyped???
LOL!!!!
Let's just sum up:
Sony and Guerilla Games put out a trailer that they stated was a target render trailer.
They matched that trailer and surpassed it many areas.
They put out a multiplayer beta.
They put out a demo.
They put some ads on TV and other media. Claimed to be far too few by everyone.
That's it. That is 'teh Sony Hype' over Killzone 2.
"It is one thing to say that YOU didn't enjoy a game, but it is another to say that it is a bad game"
It is the psychological effect called Projection.
You so fear something and wish something to be true about it that you start trying to pretend it is true. In this case the overwhelming need for Killzone 2 to fail.
The Xbox was a console that even though it got obliterated by the PS2 in the marketplace had two main elements that owners of...
