Trust me, this game will be almost flawless when its released. And even though the game is atleast a year away, in an interview with David Jaffe his number one advice to game developers today are to play test your games TO DEATH before release.
I'm 23:P The Twisted Metal games just passed me by back on the PS2. I was one of those 'the only racing games I play have 'Mario' and 'Kart' in the title' so I must of just dismissed it.
But I loved that trailer, looks very fun and I look forward to playing it. Hell I may even pick up some of the older games, dust off the PS2 and see what all the fuss is about.
I have never played a Twisted Metal game but that looked like a hell of a lot of fun
Can the grand finale be making that awful group drop to their knees while a man in a black suit with a red tie causally walks on stage and executes them one by one? Then pours gasoline everyone and burns down Activision's travesty of a show.
3D - Could not care. Something thats suppose to immerse you in a game but a game with a good atmosphere works just as well without the need for donning the glasses and shelling out a lot of money on a 3DTV
Music gaming - Don't own any kind of guitar hero or rockband. I've played with a few friends, after a few shots its a laugh but nothing I would 'hardcore' on my own.
Portal 2 - Oh well, they're on Valve time.
"How about the power to shoot a player...WITH WIRELESS NUMCHUCKS. How about the power...to Move you!"
Fair enough. I hoping to hear a knocking on my door and expect you there politely asking me to stop :P
I do agree with the article though, I enjoyed World at War far more then the Modern Warfare games. Storming Berlin was a fantastic level and the Nazi Zombies game mode sealed the deal.
How odd, I'd say it was a week ago when I had a blast on Nazi Zombies and actually found several games online with other people on the PS3. It still has an active community if you ask me.
The Wii describes my ex perfectly.
Devil May Cry 2
State of Emergency
Twilight Princess
Assassins Creed
To name a few.
Edit: Dead Space! Had a few jumpy moments at the start but really, not scary and it holds your hand right to the very end. Big let down in my eyes.
Just completed this today. I wouldn't call it 'the pinnacle of storytelling', the story is good enough to see through to the end but it was nothing amazing. An enjoyable game though.
Good teaser. Intersting that he takes the Helghast soldiers helmet and puts it on at the end. Possibly some stealth/infiltration missions when you go undercover as a Helghast soldier?
That was hilarious. To be honest I'm enjoying Alan Wake a lot but many of the flaws he mentions are true.
There seems to be a lot of these articles appearing lately. Personally I want the ICO and The Shadow of the Colossus. Never had a chance to play them on the PS2 and feel I would rather enjoy them in HD.
Think Sony may unveil another collection at E3?
Nah. Seriously, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption did very, very well on the 360, so the next GTA will be multiplatform as well. R* and T2 favoured Sony last gen maninly because Sony dominated last generation, the PS2 was the place to be.
Anyone else keep getting annoyed that people keep calling it GTA V when it'll just be 'GTA [Insert Place Here]'. Grand Theft Auto V will be out NEXT generation with a new game engine.
I know, I know, people are just calling it that because we don't even know if it exists yet but still, its not GTAV!
That was actually really funny! Cheers for the laugh.
Well I just died a little inside when I read that title. I would love a sequel to what is argubly the best game in recent years.
"Hey man, wanna trying some...'gaming'?"
"Whats gaming?"
"Hell man, its only like..THE BEST HIGH there is right now. All the cool kids are doing it"
"I dunno man, drugs are bad, my mum always said..."
"Ignore your mum! Don't be a square! I'll load up CoD and we'll get totally wasted!"

Theres a comment on the website that says:
"Kratos is such a poorly designed character it's not even funny. A real bad-ass requires compelling characterisation rather than the developers just saying "OH LOOK AT OUR GUY, HE IS A BAD-ASS BECAUSE HE KILLS PEOPLE AND HAS SEX WITH WOMEN".
I'm glad he isn't on this list, terrible, terrible character."
Seems this person had no problem with Duke Nukem being number 1 th...
