I was happy to see Gran Blue Fantasy: Relink
Dragons Dogma should be cool and I liked Towers of Aghasba, Phantom Blade, and Tower of Fantasy could be cool though it's Perfect World so it may be way too gatcha for me.
RE4 VR looked great and I had to mute the sound and look away for FF16. And I played the other cat quest games so I'm sure I'll get this one too. Interesting that they showed Marathon, it had been rumored quite a bit, and it'...
I'd just like to point out it took game pass from June 2017 to April 2020 to surpass 10 million subscribers. And, Microsoft only reached that Milestone after launching on PC.
Playstation reached 14 million PS + Extra/Premium in 10 months.
I'd say it's off to a good start.
The thing that people don't understand is that PSVR is a big budget item, the people who buy s PSVR have disposable income.
PlayStation isn't about selling hardware (indirectly) they are about selling software. PSVR owners are going to buy a lot of software.
One PSVR owner is like 10-20+ people who just buy the yearly Madden which is a lot of people.
If PSVR is being sold at break even they are going to turn a big profit on soft...
This is why it's best when Final Fantasy is PlayStation only.
So... one possible explanation is that 25% of xbox sales last year were from people who couldn't get a PS5.
No, to everything you said.
The console is a platform by which Sony sells billions of dollars worth of games the console is their main revenue driver.
He "asked" PlayStation owners, who are giving the company billions and driving their console sales which is their main profit revenue.
PS5 owners = $ billions
PC players = $ Millions
One game... not a whole publisher.
Quit trying to compare one game to a whole publisher. It's extremely disingenuous, especially when the deal is known to be timed exclusive.
And I know you know what you are saying is completely unfair.
TLOU was a PS3 game, that's not what they are talking about. This is in relation to new releases.
Ryan : We also fully understand the importance of PS5 exclusive titles. As I said earlier, PlayStation Studios' main responsibility is to have people enjoy the gaming experience using the latest PS.
>We are increasing the number of PS5-exclusive titles and staggering the release of the PC version.<
>selling the PC version two or three years after the release of the PS version<
I completely disagree that DS would have been better without boss fights.
I would however say that in DS 2 I hope the boss fights are more complicated and refined.
I thought it was interesting they brought up Twisted Metal.
it seems likely that the rumors of a new game were true, maybe we'll see that at the presentation.
I'm confident that Microsoft can continue to screw up regardless of Starfall's success.
Utawarerumono is fantastic, it's a whole series of games
Nothing here seems to be a change from the plan they offered in the past.
Consoles are selling as fast as they can make them, and games on PC seem to be selling well and not slowing console sales so that seems to be going as planned.
I am not a live services gamer but I certainly understand why they want to go that route, and if it doesn't impact the number of single-player offerings having a wider portfolio seems like a good idea to me.

Have you at all considered that plans changed when COVID severely slowed next-gen adoption rates?
Keep in mind not only did the PS5 launch with next gen only games it had a new UI new controller new audio tech and more, I think it's fair to say that the PS5 was BY FAR the most "next-gen" of the two consoles.
Should be interesting to see what they have to show.
I suspect that the two devs who allegedly had their projects canceled were devs that were not able to hit the deadline to make a presentation for this event. Because this event had been rumored I kind of thought this the other day but since the event hadn't been announced I didn't bring it up.
Seems like a PlayStation take on Payday.
