Mass Effect 3 already has a much deeper customization system than Mass Effect 2, so I don't get where you see it's "watered down to the bones".

It doesn't really make sense within the context of the story. In Gears 1/2, she's a soft spoken dispatcher, receiving and transmitting calls.

Halo: Combat Evolved still the best Halo game in my opinion. I would easily buy a remastered/updated version of it. Good times back in 2001.
Common sense dictates that this should apply to all games. However, I've seen the opposite on this site. Only when a PS3 game an ok score, everyone says "It's only a score" or "The game is great, don't listen to reviews" etc.
