I'll just do it. With two races in GT5ive, they make up 48 hours of the career mode. I'm saying, I'm progressing slowly as hell in Driveclub (I just like to drive race cars cars cars!) and haven't beat the last two GT's. I have well over 10,000 miles in GT5 including GT6. Not even close to half that amount comes from career mode races or even online racing. The career mode is only a portion of a racing game (online RACING game). And I'm just hoping the online portion o...
Nooooooooo. Simply put, it can (will) never happen.

Yes, PGR4 is revered by racing game fans, simulation or not. But it only runs at 30fps and it doesn't strive to be a simulation. It's like a stronger version of Driveclub (which is in 30fps, of course).
+100 cars
10 or 11 tracks to work with
GT5 released three years later with +100 more PREMIUM cars and 28 locations, not including DLC cars and tracks. A number of cars were free. Can't remember how many.
Edit -
When FM gets a +17-mile "track" created around a city - in GT6 it's in Ronda, Spain - by a system the developer used that the players will later get to use (whenever that may be, but whatever, snow dirt rain fog dawn day dusk night have been around with GT5), then I will tip my hat to T10.
FM6 weather effects/physics seem impressive. But holy hell, it's fixed and you can't have it at night. Driving down the Mulsanne Straight in the dark without rain with...
They did it by having fixed rain. And no rain at night.
The physics seem awesome. The wet surface looks brilliant. I just wish my first statement wasn't true. I was ready to buy an X1 when FM6 releases. Now I'll wait till Halo does, because that's when my older brother goes bonkers playing it all the time. Them level 50's are crazy.
With FM5's physics as good as they are, driving in the wet is going to be something special.
Oh wow. Anyway...
"after all, it’s far better to introduce a new feature slowly and build it up later than throw out half-baked ideas that might not work for the fanbase."
In the case they're speaking of (yet another jab at PD/GT) about hydroplaning and PUDDLES!!, PD have been working on wet surface physics since GT4, sooooo they're going on 11 years at the very least. Weather and time change "might not work for the fanbase". SMDH ...
WHAAAA!?!?!?
It isn't childish. It's hilariously sadly fudged up actually.

This is what I will always be comparing night racing and the nordschleife to.
Rdeal is right about circuit-based racers needing to be 60fps (if they're simulations). But FM is in 60fps. It's the open FH that's in 30.
Still thinking about getting a Vita. Any ideas on where i should start? Something from the bargain bin.
Nighty night

Undeniable.
GT6 had it's own unveiling before E3 in 2013. Then they showed up in Spain in style. GT sells more games than any other PS exclusive, so SCE don't feel the need to give it as much or any publicity at E3 like regular ol' video games do. It's smart, but as a fan of GT and PD, I would really like them to give them their props on a grand stage. It's been way too long. They've already said it's PS's flagship title, but where's the love? I would definitely buy a ...
No that's fair enough. I don't agree with your sentiment (I didn't click the disagree button either). But it's still going to look and play good. How can anyone deny GT's pedigree? Recycled content isn't always a bad thing as long as it's included in the game. Why are you making that out to be bad? I don't like using those cars, but there are plenty PLENTY of cars and a variety of them to choose from for me to continue having a good time.
FM3/4: You smack a guardrail/wall/car on the front-end of your car, the rear of YOUR car shows visual damage... Get outta here.
Seriously, these snide remarks of yours aren't seen in FM articles. Don't say it isn't a snide remark. With your Ford GT FM6 yet-to-be-released game avatar. Git SOME!
Disagree already, ahh ok...

SOCOM was awesome. I completely forgot about it. Hell yeah. That would be great to have it this gen on anything.
I'll pay +400 for VR when I know the content is worth it, but not this controller. I was excited as hell when I first seen it too. I really want one. Within the next year, me or my brother will be getting an X1 soooo this controller made me want to get one even if my brother got an X1 and much sooner, as well.
not that good either. there's no way i can 100 one of these games. I've still "only" gotten 85 hours into GT6. With GT5, i've done more than double that.
