Cheap to remake/remaster for last of us part 1 they already had all the gameplay mechanics that they could take from part 2 and the first game is relative modern that not a lot of things need to change. So for example a lot of us want legend of dragoon but remake this game will cost a lot and a lot of gameplay will need to be changed to feel more modern + text change
Yeah 80 euro is just too much. If they had let owners of last of us remaster to get it for like 20, I would had bought in on day one

The problem with many modern games with levelling system, enemies levelling with you so you’ll never truly be overpowered
Thing is there not enough talent in that field and if you are a really talented game developer, you probably would prefer to work for your self than a faceless company. Also the whole inclusion is more on marketing devision that hopes such stuff will lead to bigger sales. I am pretty sure game devs and artists knew that concord would fail since people try to escape reality and out of shape person don’t wants to relate to out of shape video game character.

It’s not just 200$. PS5 was released in 2020 and didn’t had single price cut. That’s mostly because Sony now has no competition thanks to Xbox’s losing all direction so Sony know it and can get away from overpricing their stuff.
More like an excuse to have price lower than digital ps5. Hitting a certainly price. They probably could made switch 2 for 500-600$ that is around Xbox series s power but at that price their target demographics wouldn’t buy it. 399,99 is probably max price they can aim for.
