Yeah we don’t have tech and infrastructure to send true 8k quality signals. It will takes years until that will get mainstream since even 4k still isn’t super popular
It’s one of worst gaming generation. We get a good game like vision of mana and prince of Persia. Before those games are even released publisher call them flop and close the studio that developed those games. Microsoft OG studios barely release new games outside of Forza. The only one who still doing good is Nintendo but we don’t know how will the change with release of new console
It’s an 10 buxx upgrade. Imagine if we had such options during ps4 era instead of being offered full price for remasters. So those 10 buxx upgrades is one of few good things this get brought up

I am sure EA goal is mainstream and sales expectations are set very high and if the game falls to meet the sales expectations the studio will head towards same direction as latest Prince of Persia and I bought both games. The game already has a lot of negative hype from previous BioWare games like anthem and andromeda so would been wiser to play safe in colour department.
I still believe we’ll reach that kind of graphic by the time the game gets released

I remember in 2018 after successfully launching Spider-Man and multiple other exclusives Sony told they will release less exclusives from now on and focus on mobile it was also around this time they announced Jim Ryan as new CEO. It was clear that Sony decided to go to wrong direction. Many people on this site back then tried to give excuses why it’s good that Sony planned to release less games in 2019 compared to 2018
