next console. Nintendo is a shifty beast. while msft and sony try to shift to the casual market. I can see nintendo shifting back to the hardcore in about 2 to 3 more years.
Will Wright. This guy has a game coming in spore where you go from a single cell organism and evolve into a acutal species. Talk about taking god gaming to next level.
Last but not least John Carmack. This guy is to smart for me to even put in words.
Sega is too stupid or too scared to finish shenmue unfortunately. I can only hope that one day MSFT buys the rights to this game, powerstone, and jet set radio and revive some of those great classics.

my download took all of 10 minutes. still a worthless update imo, and I can't stand the fact that you must take updates in order to get online.
if the ps3 was hacked you'd pirate games? I highly doubt it. Also yes the psp is modded to stupid levels but how many of you; julia bond, dark, and SMBF own a modded psp???? Maybe the dreamcast was a bad example because all you had to do was simply burn a cd. but what about the original xbox? that was modded more so than the ps2; even the gamecube was modded more than the ps2. and now the 360 and wii. All I'm saying is a lot of people mod the other systems because they like the playstatio...

in any event this hurts yahoo more so than it hurts MSFT. Yahoo knows this and the only reason this deal didn't go through was because Jerry Yang wanted to pocket more money than msft was willing to give.

I think the biggest issue Sony is facing is getting sponsors for home, cuz if not plan b would be to charge, and if that happens HOME will be a failed project IMO because most ps3 owners are used to not paying. I mean Qore was ragged for having a price tag by gamers I know and it's only 3 bucks per episode. I got buddies who have games like Cod4 with no DLC cuz they don't wanna pay. A lot of ps3 owners have gotten spoiled by the term "Free" and I think this is the biggest hurdle ...

It's simple enough for the most casual gamer to pick up and play, yet it's complex enough for the most hardcore to have some real fun and a real challenge with it.
Also sackboys don't look that cute to where it's sickening. I mean where else could you possible have master chief, solid snake, kratos, marcus fenix, mario, and link in the same game? at least sackboy replicas of them anyway :)

peter moore stated in a interview after e3 of last year they wanna focus on games for that year or the first part of the next. if a game is not close to being ready they won't announce cuz they wanna try to avoid any delays. so nothing new or unheard of was announced that's their style. Personally I like it.
I mean I'd rather know a game like gears 2 or fable 2 is coming this year than to be teased with let's say I don't know a GOW trailer and no idea when the game will ship...
