Played both alot- sotc about 8 times! ICO- 3 times!
I was given sotc as a gift, put it in and played as much as I could till I finished it. After the first playthrough I knew the game would be in my permanent collection!
played sotc so many times I cant count! had a hard time finding ICO, then one day 6mos ago, I just casually asked the clerk at gamestop if they had an ICO, he gives me a puzzled look, then tells me he just put one on the shelf 5 minuets ago! Then tells me his mgr had it in his collection along with a recently accidently opened one (KIDS :0 ), so he figured he didn't need one and brought it in! It looked brand new with instruction book! 21$ later I finally had it! AWESOME game!
you are so right about the MECH! when it came out, i think around the 2:30 mark, I seriously couldn't contain myself! It looked so menacing!

IMHO the recession is hurting just about every american based business. so, if valve see's a cheaper route, it would be in their best interest to pursue it! If psn doesn't charge dev's, then valve should go for it.
