I bought the Destiny "Limited" edition for one hundred American dollars. And now have to pay more money for content that new buyers get for less! I will not buy any more Destiny related dlc from now on.

Really? lighting, bullet hit response, sound effects, particle effects, voice acting, motion capture and so on are totally broken according to the writer. Smells like a fish, looks like a fish, feels like a fish....

Im glad the Witcher devs are insuring the game works well and has fresh content, I also think Guerilla Games as developers show an elevated responsibility to keep their games fresh and up to date with fresh content. Killzone SF is like a new game since launch(MP).

Even though GG's Killzone titles MP aspects have been stellar and in the forefront of what those games were delivering, I think focusing on SP is a smart move for this game. It allows the entire team to focus on gameplay instead of splitting everyone up on sp/mp teams. can not wait!
I think the weapons and how they are modified could be the game changer for this title. And GG have always done their weapons very well. Also the mechs in killzone could've been a stand alone title! They were BOSS! GG has already done the mechanical npc in a way that was new, fresh and very well thought out. Cannot wait!

@JBB "look back when you're 40", I'm 50 and actually had a "Magnavox Odyssey" brand new from the only retailer that would sell this new "Video Game Console" which was Sears. I've been gaming ever since and gladly purchased my fat 60G ps3 at launch. You are right, I have never worried about sales as long as the games were coming.
Why is there alot of Doom and Gloom articles about Morpheus and Occulus, but Halolense will destroy all we know!? It will be cool, but traditional gaming isn't going anywhere either.
Great article. I am especially frustrated with the Activision/Bungie Destiny DLC fiasco. This was my first purchase of a"season pass", after spending too much on dlc last gen, only to 'break even', then Activision/Bungie realease another DLC and expect me to pay more than my initial $100! No way! Warframe has twice the content and is FREE!
I agree with your veiwpoint in the short term. But, IMHO, when VR shows its true appeal, and the TV commercials start, and some of the cool kids' start telling everyone how bad ass they are, and then it becomes a 'must have'. There is a lot of variables for this to blow up and I feel some of the biggest hurdles have been dealt with.
This is great news for us gamers awaiting VR. My only concern was dev support from Sony, and they are delivering on that. To those who think VR is in Its infancy, or hope Morpheus can "deliver", must realize VR has been attempted several times for decades now. Occulus devs, Sony devs and Valve devs and the scientific community all know the tech is on point now! Like I said, all we need is quality software and let the vomiting commence my friends ...

I only agreed to Shadowfall's aproach, all maps free and the more you log in you can get in-game money to get whatever you want. I bought Destiny's EP and just broke even, then more dlc comes out and I have to pay MORE...No way! I payed $100!
Killzone SF mp is BOSS! I had 3 guys over for scotch and we took turns, one guy is getting a ps4 for Shadowfall. My goto shooter always !
I actually did the same thing. But my son kept at it ad GD! The game opened up! Too much to list here, but his attack "dog", and attack " flying worm" are boss. His suits sell for REAL MONEY ! And there is so much going on its insane action!
All I kept hearing last gen: "buy the expansion pass, it'll save you so much money in dlc", I saved $30 in dlc with the expansion pass", etc...So I buy my first expansion pass ever for Destiny...break even, then they release dlc even I have to pay for! Words cannot describe how upsetting this news is is for my son when I told him" no way are Activision/Bungie getting more money from me!". $100 for a game, two dlc's and less content than the free-to-play game W...
I looked up some gamplay vids on Freedom Wars (never played it), and your observation was spot on! I also agree that it still will be my top anticipated title!
I have co-workers to this day tell me how they bought a xbone because of the Sony hack years ago on the ps3,(less than 200k affected and all data encrypted, no secure data usable). I told them all companies get hacked, banks retailers, Governments etc.. the U.S. Pentagon was hacked.
I wonder if people leave steam because of this hack breach too?
