I can see how this game won't be for everyone, but with the confirmed combat system and random factions that will attack players and what-not, it should appeal to quite a few. I personally love what I have seen and cannot wait!
The first time I played GOW1, I was blown away by the viciousness, and the shear scale! Kratos instantly became a iconic character to me like Wolverine or Spawn!
I remember Killzone 2 getting 6/10 scores and such, and back then was the first time I realized that there was some shenanagins afoot! Now the title is revered as a pinnacle FPS as I felt it should've been, and stated as such.

About the same as Bioshock 1 and Bioshock had no mp either and got Goty reviews. Not an issue....
Some forget too, that early footage and/or gameplay, especially at large events with waiting lines,the games are usually set to easy settings or even "God" mode to expidite things'

A game can definitely have over the top graphics and also game play. Kill zone 2 is a prime example.
Some have beaten MGS4 in that time also!
PlayStation exclusive games that I have played that I felt were reviewed with either an agenda or bias or or were given negative marks for issues that similar multi-platform games were given passes for the same issues or just obvious jealous hate.

Only thing I don't like about destiny is crucible. Very much a "twitch" shooter, I like more shooters that lean toward tactical.

Killzone 2 was hated greatly before relese, now its regarded as a "top ten of all time" FPS. Let the game speak for itself. I feel it will also shine!
All the pre-negativity placed on a game that I am personally anticipating reminds me of another Playstation exclusive that I went through the same media wonderment. I think the problem with the two scores, regardless of the two different reviewers is that both reviewers represent IGN US, thefore the two scores should reflect the disparagement between the two titles.
