To all of us who feel this review is clearly biased, this is also the exact way I felt after the 6/10 scores some gave Killzone 2 back in the day. Then the majority of gamers, many who had never even played the game, began ageeing too. Agenda journalism needs to stop.
Im 50, and have been 'gaming' since the Magnovox Odyssey in'78. Currently playing MGSV and still playing Destiny and Killzone SF multi-player . This guy is BOSS!
@perjoss Point taken, but you need to view this situation from the 'money' side. Unless EA, or any "for profit developer/publisher, offers a full refund in legal script if I dont like the DLC content then a for profit corporation like EA should not get a DIME of ANYONES hard earnd money well in advance of the products realease.Us gamers spend Billions to these corporations, and to hand over 200-500 million for what looks like sub-par content so they can collect not only the init...
After enjoing the multiple free map packs and free(after earning in-game points)premium dlc in Killzone ShadowFall, i'm really jaded with these season passes. My first seaon pass I bought was for Destiny and did'nt get anything that I would'nt have gotten if I'd just bought the expasions, except for my red ghost and Inconsequential items and whatnot. I felt jipped.
After reding how the Taken King Oryx came to be and how important he views the other Hive, I will have a deeper thrill out of destroying all that they are trying to accomplish in this Universe! Just knowing that my own battle victories mean so much more than I thought is cool and should be more involved ingame.
WOW!
I don't see it compared to other shooters like Killzone SF for instance. Looks more generic to me.
Mediocre, generic twitch shooter, sub-par performance, sub-par graphics, expensive dlc/season pass. Not for me.
Mediocre, generic twitch shooter, Online only, expensive dlc/season pass, no story, sub-par graphics, sub-par performance, not true to the previous games content. 6/10
As a 'BattleFront' fan, and after looking extensively at this title, I will pass. Very mediocre...
It is another "twitch" shooter. Very generic. No substance. Not innovative at all.
Still, Kill zone SF is way better IMHO.
It is absolutely not good at all. Not 'next-gen'. Re- skinned cash-grab imho. Very disapointed even though it's a beta, the game has no space combat! Online only, really! ...
Tried the beta, and it's back to the best visuals in a fps this gen, and best mult-player too. Killzone SF is my 'go to' fps
Tried the beta, and again, I am going back to the best visuals in a fps this gen, the best fps mult-player too. Killzone SF is my 'go to'.
The big difference to me comparing other Open World Games to Metal Gear is the level of doing the missions the way YOU want to do them, they are at a level Skyrim, RDR, GTA etc..do not do. The perfect reviewes of MG always state that same retoric, i.e. IGN's score and review to name one. If you find MG too "boring", or "repetitive", try equipping different weapons and "buddys", or calling in support, or doing it "run and gun" vs stealth. MG and Koji...
love the "Kubro" and flying Attack Worms!
I could've written this article! I've been saying these points for some time now. Someone Should list the simularities between the two, the list would be long. My kubro is boss!
No Killzone 2! But the list has Titanfall? Titanfall was good but Killzone 2 is a gaming Classic for pete's sake!
Gran Turismo 4 on the ps2 had 1080i support.
