Destiny is a serious grind. But, I do find it fun, and plkay it daily. But my fps go to game for online mp is Killzone SF.
That video was annoying, felt like I was listening to a used car salesman! I hated how how he was attempting to explain the more "complex", and ""difficult" combo button mashing and it was simple and easy and very common double jumps and what-not! Game looks fun, but not very challenging.
I do remember "Speed Rumbler"! It was a terrorist game!
Im definitely "old school"! list of games off the top of my head i'd walk 2 miles to play: space zap, sinistar, xevious, major havoc, tempest, berzerk and so many more! BTW, I'm 48, so most of these I played when they first released!
This cut and paste cod thing is very old.
Shadow fall (like ALL games), had some issues, but GG did bring the most immersive MP again. Superb graphics and sound too. this new game will no doubt be a heavy-weight too.
I agree! The MP is outstanding! Once your classes are upgraded, and the abilities Get some love, the game shines! Fps fans cannot miss Killzone's immersiveness!
Out of the two, I prefer BF. But my go to fps of last gen and this gen has been the Killzone series of titles.
The campaign, I feel, wasn't bad, broken, hard to understand, or anything like that, it was just mediocre for a "Killzone" title. People expected more. I can name a dozen shooters with worse campaigns that didn't get as bad reviews for their campaigns, but like you said, the mp is BOSS!
To those who haven't purchased Killzone SF, get it For the MP! Very intense, and once your classes and abilities, and perks like stun, air support, turret, etc.. are leveled up, the mp shines!
I'm wondering if there are things like demanding a.i. or something else running behind the scenes that would put pressure on the xo? Graphics are not the only thing that taxes a console. No one has commented on this aspect.

The article stated that this will happen Thursday, ahead of the previous announced date. This is the Santa-Monica area studios. Lots of tech companys in that area, some hopefully all affected find new gigs!
As an almost 50 year old gamer from the Magnovox Odyssey days, I've been watching our adult electronic gaming hobby transform drastically over the decades, I am definitely looking forward to VR for reasons too long to list! The reasons I didn't like "motion" gaming were numerous, but VR seems like the kind of "immersion" long time gamers have been dreaming about since the beginning when we were heavily ostracized for devoting time to our "hobby"!
I have said in the past that the simple fact that some will get "sick" using VR is a PLUS in my book! The more "immersive" games get, the more we will see this. Some people cannot ride carnival rides etc... VR's hardcore gaming on the next level!
Looks very sophisticated and groovy! The dialogue seems decidedly smart too!

I feel that the mech's in Killzone 3 could have been a great mech stand alone title! GG does have a knack for the mechanical! Killzone SF'S droids and airsupport drones are amazing too! Can't forget the details in the remote turrets also, best in any game ive seen.
I've been reading very positive things about this game, and after hearing about the "Procedural generated enemies"' and whatnot, I am very intrigued! The developer was saying how the bosses you face, your friends won't and so forth! Reminds me of what got me excited about the upcoming "No man's sky"!
Wow! Didn't know the playstation camera can do "green screen"! Now we can make vids like Angry Joe and others do!
