No, it was just a better campaign. Better mission structure, better story, better everything. I think people forget how bad Destiny 1 campaign was.
How so? Destiny 2's campaign was way better than Destiny 1. I mean way better. And there was a lot more content at launch than Destiny 1. The issue with D2 wasn't the launch period it was the end game which was strong for a month or so. Granted Destiny 1 by the end was an amazing game, but Destiny 1 at launch was really lacking.

Disagree about non stop failures. Destiny 2 is a very good looter shooter. It has run its course but it had a very fun multi year run. But yeah, Division 2 is awesome so far.
I agree that the gameplay is fun, but the endgame is definitely lacking. I think it is a safe purchase as in you will definitely get 100+ hours of fun out of it. But don't expect it to consume your life like other looting games tend to do. The looting system is straight garbage.

Very different types of games, but there can be times division 2 feels just as hard if not harder.
Or you could just run a life steal smg build and run around wrecking house haha.

I love them both. I do like the gameplay and story better in Anthem. But Division 2 does loot so much better. I also enjoy coop more in Division 2 since the AI is so punishing you really need to work together more. I would give the edge to Division 2 since the loot system is just so much better and while Anthem Gameplay is more free and fun, Division 2 still has amazing gameplay, where Anthem's loot system is garbage.
Haha, me too. But I would imagine people who got the game a week early are probably getting close to World Tier 4
I am really enjoying it so far. Exploration is my favorite part of the game so far. The map is just so big. Although not being able to drive or fly probably makes it feel larger than it is, but I welcome that. The enemy AI deserves all the awards. They are just so smart. I hate them lol.
Fun gameplay, disappointing end game. I had fun getting to the end game though and I am excited to see what they bring in May with the first semi big update.
I don’t agree about the control points being too hard. They are challenging solo, but not unfair. There are no secret spawn locations, you know every angle they can come from. And the radar works well.
So what you mean to say is that the game beat you.
