I think players would love a Diablo 4, but as far as Diablo 3, no I don't think they want more story. I think at this point they want an entirely new story which would be a new game. But adding story on the end at this point in terms of Seasons is just too much time investment.

Be interesting to see what happens to the player base on October 1st.

I get that people don't like change, but Diablo 3's art style is amazing. Maybe the best ever in a game in my opinion. It is beautiful.

The Auction House failed. Diablo 3 definitely did not. There were reasons the second expansion was never made but it wasn't because the game failed, just World of Warcraft made more sense for expansions since it had monthly subs and was built more around the idea of an expanding universe. Diablo is a different type of game, the way the seasons structure is layed out people don't really want more story. they just want new gear and builds which Blizzard has been adding that.

Diablo 3 didn't fail. It is still going strong even today. It had a rough launch but grew into a hit.

Microsoft is on top. Nobody is more valuable as a company and Xbox is a part of that. Their biggest money maker is their cloud computing environment which supports tons of gaming. Microsoft doesn't care about silly wars, gaming to them is global. Sony, Nintendo, Apple all use Microsoft cloud services. Microsoft is the biggest contributor to C++, which all game engines are written in. Microsoft owns Havoc and most of the physic engine patents which are used across all gaming. Microsoft cre...

Personally I thought it all fit really well. Didn't feel forced, just felt like a natural integration as it should.

Hard to imagine who would buy it on steam when you can play it for 2 dollars on the Windows Store.

@Ricegum, 2pac: Jack added RPG elements both for single player and a new way to play multiplayer, they added open world elements quests, they added the skiff. It still feels like Gears but a clear evolution and done really well too. Borderlands basically just refined stuff they have always done, which is fine too.

PC in general is just way more popular today. People are finally realizing the future has always been available

Gears 5 feels like an evolution of Gears. To be fair. Although Borderlands also does, just not as much so

Yeah, and Sony fans go into a fit anytime you mention all their games would be so much better on PC as well. It is the world we live in. But respect to Microsoft for letting their developers stretch their legs on great hardware.

True. But really my point wasn't to diminish Xbox. Just show gaming is so good on PC. Shame Sony is forcing their devs to create for lesser hardware when their games could be better on PC.

that is best played on a PC.
