Depends on the TV. The new LG HDR tv's have really low input lag. The olders tv's were bad in that area though
Well said. It is a fun sandbox to role play as pirates with friends. And I do feel that Rare advertised it as such. A lot of people seem to think it was something else but I can't recall any press previews or developer videos selling it as anything else. This was always what Sea of Thieves was supposed to be. But I still have issues with it even as such. The game is a pretty buggy mess right now. Still fun but man it is buggy.
I think most of the reviews are fair, game has a lot of bugs and issues. That doesn't mean it isn't fun though. I am having a lot of fun with the game and keep coming back to it but if I was forced to review it I would give it a 6 out of 10. I think being fair in the reviews is important though, developers need to know what to fix.

Yeah, I don't get the comparison. No Man's Sky at launch was such a lonely empty experience. Sea of Thieves is the opposite of the spectrum, you would rather not constantly run into other gamers haha. Although lately we have had much better luck making friends at skull forts and working together which is nice. Less loot but it is worth the trade off.
As much as I love this game, I can't get back into it. Won't complain with a solid 300 hours of gaming though. Amazing game and great value. Have a lot of complaints about the performance and rng system, but overall it is my game of the year so far. Maybe by the time it actually comes to PC there will be enough new things to pull me back.
Quantum Break wasn't very good. Sunset Overdrive on the other hand.. That was an amazing game. They should bring it to PC.

Of all my friends that are playing which is significant, only one person paid full price. The rest of us are on game pass. And that one person who paid full price only did so because he didn't know about game pass. Honestly can't understand how anyone would pay full price for a game that is available on game pass.

I own all consoles and a powerful pc. I am playing Sea of Thieves over all other games. It is fun. Give it a try. It definitely isn't mediocre. Does it have issues that shouldn't be issues? Yes, but still incredibly satisfying as a game experience and very different from anything else out there.
I feel sorry for them as well. Not because the game isn't good, love the game but gamepass is a much better value.
Agree. Especially when they serve up that stupid amazon fake ad which is basically a virus. N4G should be ashamed of themselves. I would be embarrassed to work there.
Game has some big issues but cannot argue with the fun. Game is so much fun. Definitely see why it is so successful. Streamers probably helping a lot too, definitely fosters the inner RPG of people.
Thank goodness. People must have a lot of time on their hands to spend their entire playtime getting nothing and just griefing other players. I can see how a developer wouldn't expect this to happen since it is an utter waste of time, but I guess they didn't realize what utter wastes of life some gamers are.
I like all the changes, but I wish they made the actually running speed faster. Go Fast unless you are running.. which makes no sense.
