Although 2 to 3 hours average seems low, I think it is ok for a device like this. Hopefully it can also be charged while in use if you did want to use it as a screen etc though.
It is all relative to usage. Depending on how you use your pc and what apps etc greatly changes the life of battery. It isn't a clock that runs the same at all times. I could write an app that would run your battery to death in an hour, I could also write an app that barely requires any updates and would last for days on the same battery.
That is why the specs list maximum or "up to" as numbers. Will you ever reach those numbers? Maybe, definitely possible if al...
Yeah, it was there before but it was somehow removed in the update. They are just bringing it back. But thankfully it looks like they are doing it much better now.
I want it to become an App on your PC. Similar to how Steam Works. They can still sell an Xbox Branded PC if you want the Xbox Brand look and feel, but for enthusiast that want to build their own Xbox "custom PC" there are no limitations. When you press the Home button on the controller it will launch the Xbox Experience App.
And it is no knock on X1 or PS4, just PC allows you to go way beyond what consoles are capable of.
I get all games on PC lately that I can. I just use Consoles for Exclusives. PC Master Race : ).
We could only dream of VR experiences like this in the past. And now we can have them! It isn't too expensive, it is awesome.
yeah, I felt it was a tie between Bloodborne and Ori for GOTY personally.
I think the price is fine. It is actually cheaper than I ever imagined to be honest. VR has always seemed so impossible. It still has a long ways to go but the fact we can now experience these experiences is sort of priceless!
If it is truly 400 dollars I think that is a very good price point for entry. They will be very successful at that price for people interested in VR.
It has to be competitively priced with Oculus. They have no choice. I think there will be separate bundles. 1 barebones version that will be around 600 dollars with just the Head Unit and some games and another with the controllers etc for around 800 to 900 dollars.
I think that is fine! I have both, because not all the Xbox Games are on PC yet but I do hope one day they will be. Much rather play games on a 1000 dollar system than a 300 dollar one. Same goes for PS4.
I mean awesome gameplay as in what you can do with your character. The running, jumping, summoning a sparrow, etc feel so good as a gamer. You feel like a super hero. The FOV, pace of the game are so perfect. Not to mention how well it is done in a coop experience with the raids. Nothing in any FPS comes close to Destiny's Raids. I keep buying FPS's after Destiny, but I always feel like they just aren't good enough. Destiny set a very high bar.
And funny when you...
I put a good 2000 hours into Destiny, but now I have nothing left to do. I am excited for the next Raid though, whenever that comes out I will be back playing! Really awesome gameplay, makes all other FPS's feel really bad.
Wish they would add true controller support to the PC version. I don't get why they don't, they perfected the menu on consoles.
Exactly! Zelda is in a league of gaming nothing else can touch.
I mean, we are getting a new Zelda!!!! Does anything else even matter.
Knack and The Order sold a million? Wow. The lengths a starved gamer will go to!
There are cheaper alternatives if you cannot afford the more premium VR devices.
Man, Destiny at 60fps would be amazing! They better bring back racing for it
