Ok, so both characters have different philosophies.

- When Microsoft bans a 360s, people need to buy a new system. This is why people see this as a cause for boosting sales. Maybe not on purpose, but that's the result.
Although there are two types of bans: account suspension and system ban (the latter one seems to be quite popular).
- When hackers hacked PSN, Sony increased security and everyone kept playing on their (same)PS3s.
Again, I never implied anything regarding the PS3.
I only spoke about the PS2.

So instead of you assuming anything, I'll do you one better. I'm going to blatantly say that both PS2 and PS3 gamers are too busy playing games to focus on graphics which is all Xbox and Xbox360 gamers do(especially when it comes to multiplatform games).

If someone honestly can't play this game and wants to watch walkthroughs on YouTube, that's one thing. But to submit it?
Most people don't need more than a year to play a game. Besides there are plenty of other advantages.
Besides, there are more discounts on content and games with Plus which you get to keep, even if it only cost you a penny.
