Besides, this article is classified as rumor for a reason. And it's not much of a rumor either. It's pure speculation.
NanoSoldier is right. A hack is different than hardware failure.
Besides, the hack happened once and the downtime was no more than a month and RROD happened continually for a few years.
The point is, when most PlayStation gamers think of the PS brand, we think of the games provided on the systems.
I don't see why they shouldn't implement it on the PS3 version..... unless they want to keep it on par with the 360 version.... sigh -_-

Are you serious? Naughty Dog may have been new to MP back in UC2 BUT they actually got it right and gameplay is better than many other games out there!

Everything but MMO, RTS and simulation games are coming to consoles now. It's inevitable.
A change in graphics is all we need to enjoy games on our consoles.

It's not really a big leap above any of the current top engines out right now.

Gears 3 FINALLY looks like a sequel to Gears 1.
I was impressed by their Unreal Engine 4 tech demo. But that may be because it's a next-gen engine. I'll be waiting to see what other companies will do as well.

I guess some people see "issues" everywhere most people don't.
Personally, I didn't have any issues with UC2's multiplayer. And even though they made some changes to it, UC3's seems to be more balanced...
The most I see changing for the DualShock 4 could be the L2/R2 design and possibly added resistance for the analog sticks.
It's still a great controller fit for almost any genre.
Squaresoft's last good FF was 10.
SquareEnix's last and only good FF was 12. But even that one is not up with Square's previous work.

Yes of course, Uncharted is not the first in its genre. You could say that "Pitfall" is one of the first when it comes to games in that genre(somewhat).
I was trying to say that that Uncharted drew influences from older media the same way Tomb Raider did. And since they're both games, people will compare one to the other. Which is easier to do now since the latest TR games aren't exactly what they used to be.

OoT is not the better Zelda game.
It was the first 3D Zelda and many people's first Zelda game, yes. It's a really great Zelda game, but not "teh best".
It's a similar case with FF7.
