They're wasting their time. PS2 isn't like DCUO. It's very PC centric by design and the verticality of the the gameplay will turn off console fans.
I wish rate trophies are actually rare. Instead it's all about playing through an entire campaign without dying or getting a billion points in multiplayer.

All the efficient coding in the world is not going over come the realities of the hardware. The PS4 is a system with an AMD 7870 inside it, nothing going to change that.

I would rather have them make sure that the PS4 can run all games at 1080p and 60 FPS. Three prongs would've been easily worth it.

The idea of a game streaming service to is sell content regardless of platform. The fact that this is limited to Sony hardware completely killed Playstation Now. Just imagine how popular Netflix would be if you have to own a Netflix tablet, a Netflix box and a Netflix phone to enjoy.

Yup, the PS4 is the worst platform to play BF 4 on right now. As much as I want to play BF on my console I'm forced to game on the PC because the PC version doesn't crash anymore and it run silky smooth.
The PSN seems to be devoid of any sense of community still and all the digital games are in full price constantly.

Right now if you go out and buy a Steam Machine what you're actually getting is a Windows HTPC gaming box. That isn't a Steam Machine. A true Steam Machine is a Linux Steam box, and that is waaaaay off before the platform can reach maturity.
This PS4, Xbox One, Steam Machine conversation shouldn't even be happening right now. Because the idea of waiting for Steam Machine sound absurd, you could be waiting for years.

The rarity system is a direct ripoff of Steam's trophies. The thing is, if you're going to copy Steam then you might as well copy their other systems as well. For example Steam's collectables is something I would love see implemented for the PS4. It's basically a trophy system within a trophy system.
