Hating companies that make weapons of mass destructions is just about as moronic as hating EA.
SWTOR and Rift have high servers too. But just like GW 2 the community on those servers are just a shadow of what they used to be. The huge MMO fan base that once hailed this game as the best MMO ever simply got bored and left after the first month. The game is simply too easy and too casual to sustain the interest of the masses for long.
GW 2 is a dumbed down casual MMO wet dream. It's basically a MMO for people who don't like MMOs which is why this game went from the savior of the MMO genre to being one of the biggest flop along the likes of WAR and SWTOR.
I haven't seen servers empty this fast after release since Age of Conan, and that's an achievement.
What happened to this game. I was expecting it to come out with my PS4.
Why choose when you don't have to?
The best thing about this review is the Thief Up at Noon video. I just became a fan.
PC+PS4= Ultimate gaming combo. For me doing without one or the other would be like losing a left or right arm. I need them both to feel complete.
The PC is a platform. Steam is not. It's a market place and community. This is like blaming the Playstation Store because Aliens Colonial Marines sucked.
I don't see the problem here. Steam isn't responsible for these games. There is a review system in place now so the feedback should weed crap games out without Steam having to police bad games.
The lack of any decent RPG on the nextgen is a serious issue. Hell I'll even take Skyrim Definitive Edition right now for another $60.
Because I'll take any nextgen content I can get.
A lot of the negativity around this game is centered on the bland MMO like solo play in the early levels. Well duh!
The preview of the group content however is awesome, and that is where MMOs make their money. Just like SWTOR and many other MMOs, the end game will determine if this game is a success or not. So far the group content is up to the task.

I can't believe I got kicked out an awesome game of BF4 for this.
How is the PC not the most innovative platform? It only created FPS, MMOs, social media games, free to play, and entire concept of digital downloads.
Basically everything on the console today is derived directly from PC innovations in both tech, and business model. I can't remember the last time the console innovated on anything...oh, wait. Motion controls. And we all know much gamers love that am I right kids?
No sure if letter boxing is a good idea. With shooters I need to see as much of the screen as possible and the letter box really narrow the field of view.
Hurry up with the updates. The online community for this game shrinking fast due to the limited map selections and general boredom with the unlock system.
PC have a zillion of games that console doesn't have. Strategy games of any nature, MMOs, online action RPGs, the list will probably fill this entire page.
But all that doesn't matter when all you wanna do is play Killzone or God of War. Because you know, FPS will space Nazis and arcade beat em ups with a ton of QTEs are special.
