I lost all interest in this game when I realize that the vast majority of player interactions are based on PvP.
There is no survival aspect to this game at all. It's all about spending hours looking for random gear, then using the said gear to gank some other mofo who is running around scavenging for the same shit. Then sprinkle in hundreds of zombies for flavor.
If what I really want to do is shoot strangers in the face then there's a ton of FPS that...

How are they going to top Assasin Creed? The hacking mechanics seems boring. Running around with a gun and and cell phone isn't exactly my idea of cool and bad ass.
Planetside 2 is no longer the massive resource hog it once was. The PC game has been very well optimized. But with talk like that it'll be dissapointed if it isn't 1080p 60 FPS.
But the real issue with PS2 isn't performance but rather the players. Can this game generate a steady a player base or will millions of people play it once or twice and never come back. The epic pay or grind curve will probably turn off a lot of console noobs.

I don't care how good I get with with a DS 4 and I've spent a ton of time playing KZ4 and BF 3, in the back of my mind I know that if I'm playing with a mouse and keyboard I would be 10X better.

AC 4 and Kenway is so good because it isn't mired as deep in the same bullshit as other ACs. Lets face it, the mythology and storyline of the AC universe is basically hot trash. It's nothing more than a pathetic plot device to give people an excuse to run around roof tops to do flying face stabbings.
I'm still waiting to be impressed. Until the BF 4 patch comes out that conclusively destroy Nvidia in the benchmarks I will remain skeptical. AMD is infamous for their inability to deliver on most of their tech while constantly falling behind Nvidia at every cycle.
