Where is the amazing in this screenshot? I get can get this from the Witcher 2 or any game out there.
A console port would destroy the very game they're trying to port. The game is extremely mouse driven and much of the game play involve interacting with the environments by mousing over things. I don't see how they can port this without dumbing it down into a souless husk.
This game have a huge cult following on Steam and it's easy to see why. It's a classic turn based RPG with a genius level of emergent gameplay and mod-ability. Of all the Kickstarter projects this is the very first one to truly delivers.
The console version of this game is a cash grab nothing more. The PC on the hand get all the love. Without patching to keep up with balance tweaks and leauges, this game is as good as dead.
And how many Mantle games are there? Yeah...I thought so. AMD is the king of half baked and poorly supported tech, most of their features have little to no support and until they can prove that Mantle is actually a thing Direct X will continue to dominate.

This is the worst E3 in years. Most of the games being announced was totally predictable.
IMHO the biggest bomb was Destiny. I watched every single video and all I can think is "They spend $500,000,000 on THIS??". The part where they showed the 6v6 competitive multiplayer was absolute trash. I can get that sort of gameplay out of any random title and this game is set to release in September? Wow, they have a ton of work to do.

I want to pay $99 so I can stream my PS4 to another room in 720p. Said by no one ever.
The subscription that keeps the servers from going dark. Can you play Planetside 2 for free? Yup. But be prepared to get 50 headshots to skill up a notch while the guy who pays only have to get 10.
Basically unless you pay $15 a month fee or shell out some cash a long the way to speed up your experience gain, be prepare for an epic grind fest. It's this grind that turned a lot of potential players away from Planetside 2.
