They actually are inaccurate enough to be wrong by that much. However, even if they were wrong by that much in the actual number then we still have evidence that suggests ps4 beat Xbone last month... Meaning vgc would just be off on xb1 as well.
@Death, metacritic is a joke and the joke is a 4/10 represents a near broken game. However, on a 5 point scale a 2 doesn't represent that. You can't just go in adjusting to a 10 point scale. It doesn't work that way. Anyway, take away that 40/100 and the game jumps a couple points.

It will most like drop next week. Also, it won't have a ten year cycle. Also, even if it did the last 6-7 of its years would be lower than its first 3-4 on a weekly basis.... This console has a serious shot of being forgotten about next year. I don't think it will even hit half a million lifetime.

That's a typical first week for most games. For example, FF does about a million in its first day and then only a couple hundred k the day after and quickly falls to the thousands. Also, the charts end on the 21st. Meaning it's two full days
6:1? You act like it'll stay at that ratio. The Xbox_One is in real danger of not even crossing ps4s first week sales. That largely depends on how much money Ms is willing to throw at that region and as of now it seems like that won't be a lot.

Minecraft hasn't even made a billion in revenue yet. The sequel would need to out perform the original and the movie would need to out perform Frozen to still be half a billion short of 2 billion in revenue gained. Profits wouldn't be close to 2billion. I'm not sure Ms would ever make back the investment let alone profit from it. It really is just a bad move all around.
