Having my gaming disrupted for 3 weeks and then having said disrupted fix for free vs having my credit and personal info in the hands of thieves...yeah I love gaming as much as the next guy but there is no way you're gonna convince me that the latter scenario is the more desirable one Jack
Man, things are getting rough for SONY. After securing my credit card I'm starting to kinda feel bad for them. Not SONY as a company, but the individual people that that make up SONY. This must be a nightmare for them and I pray heads don't roll because of this mistake.
In the spirit of Easter, I choose to forgive this mistake. We are all human right? Yes even sony.
Lol. Watch people turn against their governments to defend SONY. I tell you if Mother Teresa were alive today and she said anything about this situation the fanboys would dig deep until they found something incriminating to blacken her credibility...like her driver had FOUR unpaid parking tickets! HYPOCRITE! Lol. I've decided to laugh instead of cry about this whole mess
And it would totally leak your breakfast information
Lol, good one.
Isn't this the only time that fanboys will the allow 77 million users to actually be 77 million user names and not necessarily 77 million users?
Not currently it can't, well at least not on PS3
Did Microsoft's faulty hardware also involve my personal information being compromised? No it did not. And maybe you have a short memory but Microsoft was torn a new one for Rrod, nobody just let it go.
Quit bringing up irrelevant nonsense into this. Sony should have warned people as soon as they suspected. Didn't they in fact say that our information was safe?
Not only did they withold information, they fed us misinformation
Poor DICE. Didn't they make them help out in MoH and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit as well?
Multiplayer? Trust me the reviews are the last thing that will keep you from playing this online right now
Both. The hackers mostly. But SONY for not letting us know sooner our personal info was indeed compromised
This is what I've been saying. i do not blame sony for the security breach, I blame them for not telling us alot sooner that our personal information was at risk.
Even if they suspected there was a hint of it they should have alerted us from the get go
Actually there was an article yesterday before the update about a guy who got 600 bucks stolen from his account but n4g deleted it. True story
Are serious? So pretty much "it hasn't happened to me so its not a problem" or this is happening to lord Sony so lets try kick it under the carpet damage control? Which are you being right now?
Wow. Thank you. That makes me feel a whole lot better to know that my information being compromised is not unique. Now that you've told me about Live hacks, my info being out there is OK.
I hate it that people like you want to try and downplay it just because your precious SONY is involved. Yes you do sound like an advertisement.
Only geohot didnt lose and they did it because it was wide open and ripe for piracy and credit card info stealing
All SONY had to do was alert its psn users that their information was potentially at risk. What they did was irresponsible. AS SOON AS YOU EVEN SUSPECT that personal information has been compromised you ALERT ALL affected users. You DO NOT wait a week before sharing this information.
This was incompetent and irresponsible. Why did they remain mum for so long?? I DO NOT feel sorry for them about this at all, the fallout would have been so much less if they'd been upfront from the ...
That is because most Portal 2 buyers bought it on 360. 54% vs 36% and 10% PC. Excluding STEAM sales of course, which would probably turn those %'s on their head.
How come we got the article about Portal 2 360 outselling PS3's version but still no sign of an article about how MK PS3 out selling MK 360?
@below. Please rephrase your question, I do not get it.
What I'm saying is there was an article about how Portal 2 sold more on 360 than PS3 but why isn...

Are you kidding me? What Microsoft games are single player only?
If SONY didn't follow Microsoft's lead with anything PSN wouldn't even exist. Trophies wouldn't exist...man I hate that PSN is down, I've never had to spend so much time on a gaming site before, I didn't realise just how ridiculous fanboyism was. Thats it, I'm out.
Lol. And so it begins, the crusade against all who criticize sony
