Do they even enable RGB Full Range and Y Pb/CB Pr/Cr Super-White? Whenever a PS3 game is looking " washed out " it is generally because the PS3's settings are on default.

But yes, Infinity Ward dropped the ball. They screwed their hardcore fan base where the series actually began and didn't bother to have a beta or demo that could have easily identified issues with the PS3 version before launch.

I could care less whether Valve develops for the PS3 or not. They used to make great games, but haven't for quite a few years now. Where's Half Life 3?
Valve probably realized that they would have to make a new engine to run their games on PS3 and since it wouldn't be the Source engine they wouldn't be able to make anything good. It seems that's the only thing they know how to use these days.

Finished inFamous twice and loved it both times. Prototype I hit up for around 2 hours before walking away in disgust.

Because it takes skill. Anyone can pick up Call of Duty and be good at it. It's a casual game for a casual gamer.

Resident Evil 0 was probably the only game in my library I have never finished simply because it scared the hell out of me as a little fella.

I didn't say that all mate. It was simply an example. I'm not so ignorant to make a comment like that. GT5 isn't released and won't be for a while yet. It still has to proove itself, but I think everyone can agree that it is a AAA title and will get nothing but 9/10s and above.
Metacritic matters because it takes all noteworthy reviews and calculates the final review score and helps people decide which game/s to buy.
While reviews are opinions, it seems a stronger majority prefer the PS3 and Wii exclusive titles rather then the 360.
The reason why people want to determine what console and what games are better is because they don't want to spend a fortune on something they may not enjoy.
