Just finished the game a few hours ago. Not going to bother with the MP. I can't believe I passed up this gem last gen. If you didn't play it on ps360 I highly recommend the definitive edition. The game also plays very well with vita via remote play.
@cyphertech, you say that like its a bad thing. This waterfall of jrpgs is essentially what built the PS brand to what it is today.

Its kinda a luxury item right now. I agree there's not a" OMG must have ps4" right now but it is a nice system that does have great looking games whether they are ports or last gen remakes regardless. For the budget minded or value minded consumer its easily logical tohold off for at least 6 months for some good stuff to hit. ( Infamous, driveclub, etc.)

Sony is being really nice to indies and I do believe it will pay off for them. Love them or hate them some of these devs are really great at what they do but don't have the funds to create a AAA game. Some of these indies could be the next big thing and if it goes viral then these devs will remember how well Sony has treated them plus they have experience on sonys hardware to boot.
Also this success story brings a point that vita owners buy games. Hopefully more attention...
And those drive club delays are for good good reason. MS should have done the same.

Because the title could have read something like "Could Vita Slim help the platform gain ground in 2014?" Instead of click-bait title insinuating its a "flop" before its even on store shelves. Also the entire article or "opinion piece" is common knowledge and had been repeated over and over in the hundreds of articles before it. This is just a waste of cyber space imo.

Great breakdown but I'd like to add that the PS button and START SELECT buttons are raised and much easier to press than the OG. Also there's 2 extra holes in the frame for the speakers so in theory the slim should be a tad bit louder.
Yeah I love my OLED but a bettery battery and 1gig useless storage( since it dissappears once you insert a mem card) isn't that big of a deal.
What I do like is the micro USB charging port. Thats a win. And the slim/better ergonomics can only be tossed up as subjective. So until I can actually hold one and see it for myself I'm holding off. I'm in NA so it may be a while too.
I'm other way around, I use 3ds for ninty games and everything else I play on vita. Hard to beat quality of ninty 1st party games. Still I use vita way more than 3ds, 3ds is just a fun little nostalgia tool.
Yeah and I thought I read austrailia was Xbox One's highest selling territory a little bit ago.
Its like people here want it to be worse than it is. I don't think vita will ever set sales records but it will do ok enough and have a long lifespan with plenty of titles and playstation ecosystem features for the system. I enjoy mine its actually best investment I've made in my gaming life. It has games that I normally wouldn't have played before and come to find out they are really great. My 3ds is nice but I know what to expect from the ninty games, with vita its more like a b...
Agreed. There's plenty of games that are great at MP (ex. Cod/BF) and they will always be there. The MP last for a very long time as well as thier servers. Some great SP games release with a cheezy MP tacked on that community doesn't last much past first price drop. After that I feel devs could have used that time and energy to turn that 8/10 game into a 9/10 game or whatever.
Games take me far longer than most people as I only play an hour or two a day sometimes none so this will probably unlock naturally for me.
I didn't play this last gen so I picked it up on ps4. Just beat it last night. Its got an uncharted feel but its very very very well done imo. Great game I even found a copy sitting on the shelf that has a artbook thingy built into the game case and was still only 60. I had a coupon and got it for 40 but I would have paid full retail.
If you've already played it then I can understand the negativity on the price.
