Yeah I could have gone for more Vigors. I found some to just be pointless and you could get thought the game using just a couple without ever trying some of the others available to you (nothing scripted for say but a couple of Vigor uses).
The story element is one of the flaws. It was like trying to force a elephant through a funnel (They made a grand effort in this game and I respect it and love the game regardless). I got and appreciated the alternate realities/dimensions ...
Looks like you are looking to start arguments. I'm just stating my view. I could care less about your "I am right" opinion is (primarily because of your socially challenged approach). Write a book or a blog to someone who cares. Learn how to converse with people without trying to offend them or suggest they are below your realm of enlightenment. Seriously wtf? Get over yourself.
In Starfox adventures? * Whoops! I mean Starfox Dinosaur Planet (my bad, the fact that you can visit Dinosaur planet in SF Adventures throws me off). Nah, you are not alone. I liked it a lot too to be honest. I know I dug that game more than most people did. The music and art were great and the characters were fun, much like most Rare titles.
Starfox purists hated it (since it was a reskin/rework of a 64 title). I still love it despite prince tricky's rumbling stomach. ...
Bioshock infinite is gorgeous for sure. The art direction is amazing with huge nods to Jules Verne and amazing settings. The atmosphere and environments are hard to match. The story however has flaws, even as ambitious and sci-fi and theoretical as it tried to be, there are a lot of misses and pseudo-science mistakes (still fun). I think it's the gotcha attempt, like how they did the manchurian candidate reveal in the original, that seemed to be trying to force its acceptable probability ...
I like my Ouya. It's a nice little box, but I don't think it's a console for those that just game.
It's great for tech-trendies, indies and hobby-devs. I can see how the average gamer would be disapointed with it, but at the same time it was not designed with them in mind.
Meh. Dino Skull, Snowman, those are of more substance
I'll never forget narrowly escaping a tank and two soldiers, I hid in the trees while they were looking for me. I was all laying and praying they did not see me. Then I looked up to my right and saw the snowman hiding in there with me. Scared the heck out of me at first. What the heck!? Holy smokes...everything okay...just a snowman!...
Good story telling in gaming came LONG BEFORE the last of us.
Escape from monkey island was fun until the monkey combat nonsense. I never finished it because of it. I've played every other Monkey island though! 1 and 2 being classic favs, but Curse of Monkey Island really took it to a new level. Escape was not Curse, but I got cursed with monkey combat.
Wow, this is still a hot topic. Okay, look femi-nazis, this was obvious troll fuel...duh. With you reporting on it as such makes you look extra stupid and suckers for game-trolling. I mean really, you are going to run with the word of kids and the inexperienced to make a point? WTF?
I don't care if the head is a non-gamer or not. If they know how to run the business/department/project with success, then awesome. That is part of how corporate america works. Get used to it...
It's Kewl. i played it at E3. I'm still stoked.
I'm a vet and a life long gamer. The only thing that I have ever experienced in games that comes close to something that almost feels like "I'm there again", were the characters in Bad Company 1 and 2. The characters and dialogue (not the action or rest of what is found in those games). For me, those were the experiences you would have conversing with your fellow soldiers (the camaraderie, arguments and horseplay). The COD dude-bro "I'm a hard bad ass" is BS an...
Not buying any more Gearbox games unless/until they get a serious reorg.
That is sad. Their podcast are always entertaining. I hope they continue to truck on.
It was a fun ride. Short but to the point. The environments and atmosphere were fantastic.
This will cause more delays for game releases so they can translated, tested and approved for use in all territories (sometimes it's not the matter of can, but cannot because of reasons beyond industry control). Tomb Raider was delayed. Guess why? Not all studios and publishers are going to go for it. They will want to have the benefit of testing their sales in one territory first before shelling out $ for localization costs (and everything involved in the process). If studios and publish...
This is not gamer talk, this just a bunch of insecure turds trying convince themselves that they and/or their hardware is the better anything/everything else.
Play games and enjoy tech (no mater the format and platform). Stop swinging from the nutz (yes those ones).
No doubt is it a haven for Emus, but it is also a device by developers for developers.
They have made a very accessible route for indies and those just starting out to get games onto a console (with less hoops and red tape).
We are porting a few games over to test the waters out. I can't say I'm a fan of the UI, the design is really ugggh. Performance varies on some titles too, but I seriously doubt some bothered fully optimizing their games before ...
@Shnazzyone
Sorry brother, You see only what you want to see and I've moved on. I don't and will not get caught up in asinine discussions with know-it-all ass-clowns. There is good reason why you were a two bubble pretentious biatch. Putting words in my mouth and making weird-ass assumptions will never make you right. Good luck to you and your gaming rants and disinformation. May they never leave this venue. Ignoring now. Cheers!
Those are weak comebacks.
Oh noes...people taking it personally. This is why I don't post on here very often. Not really a place for adults to hang for gaming talk and gaming industry news (even thought it is a good collective). More like a haven for personality disorders, social misfits, wannabes and drama.
"he didn't read the article". Uh, yeah I did. Think about what I said and try to get past the brand fandom you hold so dear.
I don't care for this new bread of "game journalist" that think they are more passionate about games or know more about game development that developers themselves. Meanwhile, I don't care for game designers/developers with egos/chips on their shoulders.
Fish's "I quit" attitude said enough about this whole ordeal. You drop all your efforts because some journalist said something you took issue with? Then good riddance. There are thousands of i...
