I do think it would make sense for Sony to cut the price now.
OK they will loose $100 per console, but they will probably sell 500k just this holiday.
But here is the upside. Right now Sony has their best lineup of 1st party games, meaning they would sell a lot more 1st party games with the 500k extra consoles. And that is where you make your money back.

Dailymotion.com is the 62nd biggest site on the web.
Gametrailers.com is the 383nd biggest.
A gaming video will not take it down.
@green
No game is perfect. That doesn't mean no game deserves a 10.
A 10 is for a game being the best it can be at this point in time.
The year later than might only be worth a 9.5.
If the gaming experience is a 10 out of 10, then the game is a 10, even if there are minor things you would like to see changed.
Damn..
Gears 1 took months before they made the first patch which took care of alot of glitches, but created new ones.
Was hoping it would not be like this this time around.
Still day 1 for me.
Why does almost all the reviews base their reviews on what happened from motorstorm 1 to motorstorm 2.
Should they not review (the score) the game compared to what other new games in the same genre came out this year.
I tired of hearing why it's only a little better then MS1.
Talk about the fact that there isn't a single arcade racer outthere today that can match this.
91% sounds about right to me.
I expected this game to be a 90+.
Speaking from playing the first one (which got lower scores than deserved) and playing the old build demo.
How on earth is no split screen in PURE not a problem when it was a huge deal 2 years ago on MotorStorm 1.
MotorStorm 3 is already in development :)
100% agree with that statement.
I have a hard time taking these reviews serious.
To me MotorStorm is still the best racer this game.
When I played the MS2 Demo it reminded me of the MS1 demo (short easy level).. But it looked better and the new stuff felt good.
To me the first MS was about a 90%. My guess was MS2 would be rated 90+.
It's a day one and it's going to be awesome. Nothing can make me feel any different.
@drewdrakes
Read my comment and article again.
It says developers would make games for the 720 (while it's still not out), but make them playable on the 360 as a lowres game.
It's not the other way around. Meaning the 720 would be limited by the 360.
"Imagine playing Gears of War 3 on your Xbox 360 it looks and plays good right? Well imagine that the year after it comes out you go out to buy the next Xbox and it looks even better, it ...
To me this sounds like the worst thing that could happen.
Think of it this way.
It would mean you would play games that was not ment for your system. Just like a bad port.
It would mean that the step from one generation to the next would be way way smaller than anything worth paying extra for.
Like if they made Little Big Planet for the PS2. This would not be possible. The console simple could not handle the fysics. It's not just t...
MotorStorm is the most underated if you ask me.
A 82% avg on one of the greatest racers ever.
The LBP Beta code went to "Tomdc"
To the rest who sent me a PM.
Sorry Tom was too fast.
I have one more extra beta key for LBP. (I can't believe I got 3 codes now.. Signing up on every site paid off)
PM me if interested.
Please dont take my bubbles and disaggree with me.
For some reason that is what happened when I gave out a key a couple of days ago.
I do somewhat aggree that alot of the levels are pretty much boring. They simply lack gameplay per square. But this is all on the creater.
I played an hour or so last night. And if I compare last night to 3-4 days ago, the levels has gotten so much better in general.
I expect the same bump in the next 3-4 days.
This game will evolve. The end result we can not imagine.
So what.. They made one bad game.
That doesn't change the fact that the Timesplitters series is one of the greatest there is to play.
I have an EXTRA LBP beta key!!!!
Who wants it?
EDIT: The key went to BlueRevolvuR
Thanks to whoever disagrees to me giving out my extra key.
@agent_plang
Think of it this way.
This Oct/Nov is the best time to be a PS3 owner.
LBP beta is not a demo. You can play hundreds of levels in there and spend weeks creating levels yourself.
If everyone can do this, what do you think happens when the game comes out right when all the other monster hits arrive. People will say, "I'll get to LBP later, I have already played it so many hours." And before you know it the buzz is gone. And a G...
I would say: Don't do it.
From a sales point that is.
Right now they have a major buzz/hype going on.
People are dying to get in. Let them pay and let this game have to sales numbers it deserves. Not all how get in the beta will turn around and buy the game.
Anybody know where to type in redeem codes in the new xbox?
