I see a service like Vidzone as a bigger system seller than Home,Facebook,Twitter and so on. Yet Sony is so quiet about it.
It's just a shame it's only out in 6 countries so far.
I would estimate that the new go will make Sony a profit around $100.
They need that profit. They need it for the upcoming PS3 price-cut.
Creating a UK account will not work.
You can download and install it, but it will only let you access it if you are from one of the 5-6 countries the service is starting with.
The problem with the 360 is that most of the exclusives aren't really exclusives.... I own a 360, a PS3 and a solid PC. All the games I'm buying this year are PS3 exclusives.
Games like Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead 2, Splintercell are all going to play better on my PC... And it's the cheaper option.
To be honest I think developers are losing money when they select the PC as one of their platforms.
Games like Mafia 2, BioShock 2, Modern Warfare 2 and the befor...
This why I think Natal was the right move for MS. Even though it's just a rip off of the PSeye.
This targets the Wii audience. Sony's motion controller targets us "Real" gamers. Which is great for us, but I don't think it's great for sales.

I have both consoles.
The PS3 works perfectly with PS3 Java Media Server. I simply haven't downloaded a single file that could not play over my network.
The 360 is a whole other story. The playback support when using the Media Center Extender is so crappy it's unbelievable. Almost nothing works. When I use it with Tversity is does alright, but it still has like 10-15% of the files that can not play.
I must say it's been a while since I have been so impressed by a game video.
So much gameplay in so little time. The game looks unbelievably fun. Of course the graphics are out of this world, but we already knew that.
The first one was great, but it looks like it's taking the gameplay value up a notch.

Dark Sector was very underated.
I thought the multiplayer was fun. But there just wasnt that much of it.
I would definitely recommend this game. It was really fun.
I'd give it about a 88% rating.
In a lot of scenes I thought it looked like a PS2 title.
I'm serious. I had to check that really was a next gen game and not just a wii/ps2 release.
Sony should have build in a remote detinator. Anyone with an old hackable firmware enters a wifi area gets a firmware update without doing anything. Problem solved :)

Youtube has never been profitable.
The reason Google bought it for so much money was because of the huge potential and the limited success of google video.
Youtube was started with $50 million of investor money.
The bandwidth cost alone was $30 million per month at the time Google bought it.
I'm sure Google will find a way to make it profitable. We see a lot more ads on the site now.
The porn tube sites is another chapter. I can not see them...

Every year some one makes a claim like this. It never happens.
Of course a price-cut will matter.
We all saw how much it did when they lowered it from $500 to $400.
The effect from $400 to $300 will be much greater.
Sure MS can cut the Xbox again, but every cut brings them closer to their doom. Meaning that both the PS3 and the 360 will eventually end up around $120-$150 price tag. When they both hit that (the 360 will probably hit it a year earlier than the PS3) the war will truly be on. I'm guessing this this will happen...
4th best selling Playstation game of all time.

The short video showed nothing that indicated KZ2 graphics.
A very beautiful detailed face model with no action what so ever. I think they could pull that off on the Wii :)
