If you ask me it's already there.
Speaking as a gamer with both consoles, I think Sony PSN is as good if not better than Live.
Here are my reasons.
1. With the new features on 2.40 Live has very little extra to offer.
2. The stability of PSN is to me so much more important than a couple of missing features.
3. The new features on PSN are better than what they were copied from on LIVE.
To me the winner is obvious....

I have both systems as well.
I'm thinking the same thing.
I don't have any plans to play my 360 before Gears come out, and man it would suck if it can't handle it.
Gears and LittleBigPlanet are my two most wanted games. (worlds apart)
I know someone who added a lot of moneys worth of hardware for Crysis.
He still had to play it at medium.
So unless you have a you have a $3000 PC you will probably have to do the same.
I saw Crysis running on a $2000 game PC at a game shop. It was a joke, and it didn't look anywhere as good as the videos or good games on consoles.
Just remember a great graphics card may not be enough. You have to go for the best there is.
I never get companies who delivers a game on one platform months after other platforms. Why even bother then. The game is going to sell so much less with a late release on PS3.
I know I would have gotten it on day one. But when it comes out it's going to feel old and unattractive.

I'm 31. I have both consoles.
90% of the time I play my PS3.
It's probably because us "older" guys grew up with the PS brand, plus we probably care more about design and noise and less about price than younger players.

It's software like that destroy the Internet.
Sites like N4g.com, Gametrailers.com and so one live off the advertisements.
If people start to block them the sites will not be profitable and therefor die in the end.

What you write makes no sense. The fact that they use the users cache to track if they have voted or not has nothing to do with the fact that they track the votes on their server or not.
There is no way of showing the result of the vote if it's not tracked on the server.
There is of course a much better way of doing a vote.

It's soon when you think of XP to Vista took 6 years with very little improvement, and "Im sorry to say" more things wrong than right.
This is going to rule. It took me over a year to get tired of the first one online. I just hope they have less glitches and lag, plus make it so a game doesn't end when the host quits.

I live in Scandinavia. I own both consoles. I know one guy who has a 360. Just about every other friend I have owns a PS3. They have all bought it in 2008.
This game was never hyped. We all hoped it will turn out great, but we never expected it too.
This was always a small title before the big one (MSG4).

This is Online multiplayer.
What you're talking about is single player. That has not been changed and everything you talk about is still there.
Personally I can't wait for this game.
