I'm only able to play Horde mode and can never connect to anything else in GOW2. I still think its fun and play occasionally.
That being said...I love the series and pre-ordered GOW3 but don't feel its necessary to join the beta or get involved at all. I have faith it'll be the best of the series. There are a ton of games coming out soon and Gears isn't too far away...The beta testing is great for the game development though so kudos to epic.
Who says the game will end? It'll continue on without shepard. Someone new will take the reigns and move on to the DLC content...Thats pretty much their only option if they plan on releasing DLC or moving forward in the series.
I'm mistaken as its just a rumor...but Lady in Red might be the free DLC character for Xbox. I thought there were more freebies but searching through Google all I'm seeing now is just a possibility of Lady in Red being free DLC for a limited time which hasn't even been confirmed yet. We'll find out Tuesday.
COD as a brand does indeed have a hell of a following. But it certainly is going stale due to where they have placed themselves in the series and the fact that it feels essentially like they are re-using the same engine for their games.

I dont need an exclusive character to play Mortal Kombat on the 360...Marcus Fenix, Master Chief, Commander Shepard or whoever else they would throw in there would feel like a gimmick and wouldn't fit properly.
Kratos only fits in this game because of the blood, gore and tone of the game. But I've seen his gameplay and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Plus the Xbox versions will get a few free DLC MK characters- that has already been established...

FO3 is just a better game. New Vegas has its great moments but the Strip is definitely a let down and there are far more bugs. Plus a very weak ending...Plenty of room for DLC but I would hope they are worth it as Dead Money seemed to not be by most peoples opinions.

This is extremely depressing as I just bought Dead Rising 2...I'd much rather be Frank than Chuck...plus it just sounds like they are improving the game entirely which sucks since I have a lesser version now.
What was the point of adding Chuck Greene as a character at all into the series if they are just going back to Frank? Its like Dead Rising 2 was a test. A test that failed since most fans wanted Frank.

IMO- this is probably the best point in the RE series to go back to...Raccoon City was the epicenter and start of it all. RE2 was a great game.
Looks to me that they are starting to move away from the resident evil we know to the resident evil movies instead with some of the over-the-top stuff. I don't like the instant camo as its just unnecessary and probably will be annoying to deal with if you aren't playing as those characters.

I downloaded the Dragon Age 2 demo and literally deleted it within 2 minutes of playing.
I bought Mass Effect 2 on day 1 and played it like it was my job. One of my favorite games that grabs you and keeps your attention. I knew from playing Mass Effect 1 that this was an epic series. I have complete and utter faith in Mass Effect 3 and its ridiculous to think it will end up like Dragon Age 2 based on its production and shipping schedule.

Play from your hard drive to avoid issues..not saying there wont be any but it helps.
They really need to start being innovative. Red Dead Redemption had generated random events that kept the game interesting because you can encounter a different situation each time. Borderlands also had the greatest evolution in gun gaming I've seen- countless guns that are different each time.
This all boils down to content. These game engines are getting more and more sophisticated and I see no reason why all of these ideas couldn't be incorporated into an open sand...
