not sure why the lack of ethernet port is a big deal. Idk if my enviroment or other factors has something to contribute this but with xbox live on my 360 I always experience less lag through wireless than through direct ethernet connection.

Sakurai has mentioned using this connectivity as a key ingredient earlier this spring with the Wii U and 3DS Super Smash Bros. games so they probably have specific titles in mind, and it doesn't sound like an afterthought.

I have already had a PS3 for 4 years and I own all those games so that is pretty irrelevant and I will def be getting a Wii U with some good titles. But then again since you are so concerned about math and prices maybe you should use your head and stop paying $60 for an external hard drive with only 250 gigs.
I see the points both of you are trying to make but impulse buying and using cars in general. Super Smash Bros would be enough to answer that question for me, but I love this launch list. I won't be back in the US until December otherwise I would have had mine set up for day 1 as well.

I'm incredibly skeptical that the next PS will be able to offer a huge leap over the Wii U for $400 without a unnecessary high financial loss. But heck if you are right I'm sure it will look nice sitting next to my Wii U earlier than expected.
