Eesh... I'm half-wondering if they put it there because they know how divisive it will be. There is a very adamant crowd of fans that talk down on Twin Snakes for various reasons. I'm too lazy to look them up, but I believe the cutscenes being too stylish and Matrix-inspired, the boss fights being a lot easier, and the addition of the first-person mode from the second game taking away the feel of the original game.

And I saw footage of the FMV sequences on the original version versus this one, and they look so much better now! I sure hope those reactions are misguided and I've been ill-informed. Because that would honestly suck. The Doki Doki Mode is the thing I was most excited to try in VR when I heard about this game. :(

I am probably just naive, but I don't see how using fullscreen game capture with OBS or Xsplit would lead to people injecting their own code into the game. I'm sure people would find a way to inject code without that, and forcing people to not use those methods isn't going to stop them.
But it should also be noted that, if I'm understanding correctly, OBS and Xsplit still work, you just can't use game capture. You have to use Window capture... or somet...

I was pretty sure Nintendo phased out the OG 3DS in favor of the XL, and later the New 3DS XL instead of the OG XL? Maybe I'm wrong, but, I thought that was the case. I couldn't find an OG 3DS a couple months following the XL's release, and same thing for the New XL.
This looks so dang cool and promising. Makes me wonder how many unofficial VR mods there are out there. I would love one for the new Doom. Yeah, Doom VFR is coming later this year, but it's not guaranteed to work on Oculus Rift, and also it's not Doom 2016 in VR. It's an entirely separate game experience.

I'm way more excited about this than I should be. Genital Jousting is a very fun little game. Wildly inappropriate but also wildly entertaining! And it's not so bad... at the end of the day, it's an allegory on the closeness of friendship and helping your friends out in time of need, filling their hearts with your love.
