Thats what a strong fanbase does to sales. Completly inflates them. People buy Nintendo handhelds no matter what because of the brand name. It sort of reminds me of Apple and their MP3 players.
Anyways i am sure that the fans are extremely happy with their 3DSs and i wish them the best of luck.

Sony is doing well in the USA. Sure they are not able to match the 360 in terms of sales but they are still makking a profit in the region which is what matters most to these companies.
I am just happy that Sony is offering us a whole slew of quality exclusives this year which to a gamer should be the most important thing. Which is why i dont really care about sales. I just read the articles but i dont fret over them.

I agree with him. What sets Nintendo apart from Microsoft and Sony isnt really the innovative ideas that Nintendo comes up with. Its their franchises that people grew up with that really sells their brand name.
However i would like to see some new IPs because i am getting tired of seeing the same faces time and time again. Plus i would prefer if they did new games over remakes (ex 3DS Orcania of Time). It isnt much to ask for Nintendo is a company with a lot of money so they ...
I dont think it will do anything for games. But it does have its uses in medical applications and musuems.
The 2 main reasons are probably
1. Better performance
2. Cheaper Games (no i dont mean pirated copies lol)
I remember way back when the 360 came out and all the core gamers loved it for the incredible exclusives that it gave. Now with Kinect the core seem to hate it because of the casual experience that Kinect offers.
I really dont believe that Kinect is capable of delivering a true core game experience.
However i do believe that for the casuals its great because the games are extremely easy to play. All you have to do is move your body and dont have to worry about a complex controller with hard to use buttons and analog sticks.

Yep thats what i am talking about. I am wondering why they dont comment on sales in europe and asia but they do on sales in the US. It could be because the US is their strongest market and thus the sales are immpresive.

Its ok i only own a PS3 so if theres a multiplat that i want and its a lil worse than the 360 version i will have to deal with it. No need to hide the fact that you own 1 console there are many people that do.
WoW i am amazed that they improved the visuals so much. What i like the most about them is the color. The first one always seemed a tad washed out.
