I also rememberd the first PSP. Which was the PSOne with the screen attached to it.
To me sales are who they sell the consoles 2. And both Microsoft and Sony sell to retailers. So for me when people claim shipped its actually sold to retailers.
And if you understand a little bit of economy retailers are not going to order if the product isnt selling.
The casual market is a lot bigger than the core market. So of course Microsoft is going to change their focus to the casuals because theres a lot more money to be made with them.
I have a feeling that Sony is going after the core because neither Microsoft nor Nintendo are currently focused on that market.
