I have similar thoughts as well.
I owned all the DS,s (except for the DSI: XL) and i didnt get the 3DS because to me you are paying 100€ extra for 3D which is something that i am not interested in. I just found it dissapointing how Nintendo charges such a high price this time around when the last console launched at a price of 150€.
As time goes by and prices drop the 3DS to 150€ then it will be worth it to me. But for now i shall be picking up the NGP first ...
Normal its a Nintendo handheld they always sell no matter what happens.
With how terrible the game is that is just sad. Just goes to show that the US market doesnt really care about the quality of a game. Otherwise games such as COD:BO wouldnt have sold as much there.
It will still be true because Sony has raked in a lot of people into PSN because of its free online. And i still expect it to be free in the future.
People will expect PSN to be free and so it shall remain free. Theres no point in charging to play online. However there will be a plus service that will provide many benefits.
But you still have a physical controller in your hands. With triggers to fire and the sticks to move around. I dont see how they can replicate that experience with Kinect. I have seen the hack of Dead Space for example and the guy in it uses a sort of Nunchuck controller to move around.
So Kinect isnt adecuate for core experiences. I know that its the new big thing for the 360 right now but i dont see why people defend it so much. I mean why do people want it to become a stan...

If they dont sell it with custom firmware and with pirated games included i dont see why they cant sell the console.

No they are not bad. But they shouldnt become the norm because games that provide incredible experiences such as Uncharted are expensive to make.
I agree with you they should incorporate move into more games. What i would really like to do is play Dark Souls or Skyrym with the move controller. But the problem is that the Devs refuse to incorporate move into their games because to them its an extra cost.
I believe that Sony allowed the PSP to get hacked because it helped the handheld sell.
Which is true because where i live the majority of people hack their PSPs. Now you ask why would sony do this? And my answer is this, Sony probably did this to get a solid user base. I can guarntee you that Sony wont ignore the pirates when the hack the NGP.

Those are my thoughts for Kinect as well. The experiences that you can have with it are limited.
What i mean by this is with move you can play for example killzone 3 but on the 360 its impossible to play a game like Halo Reach with kinect.
Theres a reason for that. Its because the PS3 is harder to develope more and devs dont want to spend more money to make it than the 360 version.
We heard it many times that the RSX isnt as good as the Xenos but when CELL aids with graphics it can produce better results than the 360. Uncharted 2 and God of War 3 are proof of that.
It looks that way to me as well. But i am going to wait for DF analysis.

Just face it both versions have problems. If you want the best just get it on PC. Although i do admit that crytek really screwed up the PS3 version but that is probably because they lack experience developing for the PS3.
Now that i think about it what you say is true. The PS3 is the one closest to the PC version. The 360 doesnt look better by being darker because the darkness hides the detail in the game.
I agree with you that darker is not equal to better. Which is something many people have failed to learn.

The console versions look a lot better than this. And yes i know its a handheld but we all know that handhelds can do better than this.
