and dont blame that shit on the button layout. if an mk style stick is so different from what madcatz had in mind, then why are they releasing plates for the button alignment to mimic the MK sticks exact design?
In my opinion, the quality narration throughout the mk series is why its rich history is worlds above tekken/steet fighter. i do feel like it was definitely a bit more solid in the 3d mks on the ps2 though, based on what ive seen from MK9. quite possibly the ONE thing those games got right, in addition to Kenshi.

Is this guy retarded? I thought the fatalitys from the characters in the demo were great. Nice n brutal but not completely random like in past mks. The xrays do get old, but they're pretty much supposed to. Xrays are not a move you pull just so you can watch moron: its a move you combo into. That's like saying an ultra in sf gets old quick. WELL DUH. Like ultras, xrays serve a greater purpose than "I want to watch something bloody happen."

Yes!!!!! I had my doubts about the quality based on the fact that the stick comes with the game (I stil sleep with one eye open just thinking about tekken 6) but hearing about how solid the parts are really does make me feel good about this purchase. Can't wait!!! :)

article raises some GREAT questions. i do pretty much agree with everything it says: the ps2 just needs to get with the times and start acting more like a ps3. wires and external memory cards really are a thing of the past and sony needs to keep in mind that the ps2 is still in competition with the current gen.

Why does everyone think the game that's most different in a series is the game that killed it? Resident evil 4 is an absolute masterpeice. It took resident evil from a silly zombie game to a cold, horrifying, beautiful thriller. Dead space will never be half the game re4 is.

Yeah, its really starting to annoy the shit out of me. Listen guys there are like 30 fucking characters in street fighter and like 40 in tekken. Do any of you even know how to play with half the characters in either of those games? My god most of you have probably never even picked cody or zefina in your lives! So WHY is getting some gimmicky broken extra character important. And to top it all off his combos actually look reallly bad. My advice to you LOSERS who are dying to see stiff meathea...
