I would argue that Master Chief is a more iconic character than Nathan Drake at least, not sure about Solid Snake though. Anyhow, the comment above is correct, comparing characters in a 3rd person shooter to a 1st person shooter isn't that fair.

With that said, I fail to see what relevance the IGN review has here.
Without bashing GoW3, it is SP only, Splinter Cell has a multiplayer component, so the shorter campaign length is almost excusable.
How can you judge physics from static screens? Crysis 1 had far more advanced physics than Killzone 2, I'm sure Crysis 2 will have excellent physics, even the console versions.

Raztad, God of War 3 is many great and wonderful things, but it's not original, I would consider Bayonetta more original purely due to how visually bizarre the game is.

I know what I'm about to say wont go down well, but I feel the need to say it anyway. I bought God of War 3 after reading comment after comment on here about how good it would be or how good it actually is, and having finally had the chance to play it, I'm struggling to understand how anyone could say such a thing. Having finally played God of War 3, I have to say, it's not a patch on UC2 in my opinion, both in terms of gameplay and graphics. UC2 is a masterpiece without equal this generation, God of War 3 looks good but the fixed camera is irritating and the gameplay feels clunky and dated compared to other action games.
Simply stunning, can't wait for this!
