For those disagreeing, would you care to show me an openworld game on 360, or PS3 for that matter, that looks as impressive whilst running at 60 fps?
I'm fairly sure the runners up are in no particular order.
Forget 1UP, I will listen to you guys who haven't even played the games yet, as you're in a much better position to pass judgement on these games.
I disagree, for an open world 360 game running at 60fps, it looks very impressive.
Nonsense, MGS4 was the easiest MGS game to play with a run n gun style.
Graphics may impress initially, but gameplay will keep me coming back time after time, in this respect, Halo wins every time for me personally, I don't expect everyone to share this opinion, but graphics really aren't everything.
Can you expand on that slightly? I consider Warhawk to be a more dynamic and fluid shooter than most due to the nature of the various vehicles present.
I agree, streaming movies and music wirelessly to my PS3 from my MacBook via PS3 Media Server is just fantastic, so convenient.
Scintilating.
Perhaps is the PS3 browser wasn't so clunky and prone to crashing my PS3.
What?! The first game scored 85 on Metacritic, by no means a bad score.
Why ear you bringing God of War 3 into this? It's a 3rd person action game, Kratos will be considerably more detailed than the characters in Killzone 3, that's not to say they wont look good, but GoW is all about kratos.
Some extremely bold statements being made here. I'm not particularly interested in Natal, or Move for that matter, but I will reserve judgement till E3 rather than risk making a fool of myself.
I thought the Gears of War 2 ending was spectacular, especially the events leading up to it, sure the "boss" was a pushover, but the last hour or so of the game was excellent in my opinion.
Gears of War 3 definitely looks to be the better of the 2, Killzone 3 can't even come close.
Killzone 3 definitely looks to be the better of the 2, Gears of War 3 can't come close.
And for gameplay and fun factor, I would take Uncharted 2 (marginally) and Halo.
I disagree, for the following reasons: Since the creation of the Xbox brand, MS HAS invested money into new IP's. I think people forget Sony have been in the console business almost twice as long as MS.
Forza
Halo
PGR
Gears of War
Mass Effect
Alan Wake
Fable
Rallisport Challenge
Top Spin
Crimson Skies
Crackdown
Amped
Kameo
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
Jade E...
You wouldn't predict anything else, if Sony droned on for an hour about the PSP you will still claim they "won". The biggest winners at E3 are always the gamers.
A well written and interesting article, it's a shame such things are so few and far between on this site.
