I don't see how sales figures will affect my personal experience of the game.
I wasn't aware so many N4G users were such car enthusiasts.
People like you give GT a great name.
I haven't played ME2 so can't comment, but I personally am not surprised they didn't give Heavy Rain a 10 as I don't feel it deserved it.
The insecurity on show is ridiculous. Let the game do the talking, we don't need you here attempting to patronise Forza fans.
I'm not implying the scores are "bad", I plan on purchasing the game later today myself. Sadly this generation, anything less than a 9 seems to be met with jeers of "flop confirmed" and all that nonsense.
Much as these trolls annoy, I suppose after having GT5 rammed down their faces non stop by fanboys in the build up, it was inevitable this would happen should scores not live up to it.
So now we have a few more reviews, what were you saying Thom?
Have you read the review or just looked at the score? I'm a fan of GT, but I think it raises some valid points.
I'm still not sure what to think about the premium/standard split. Personally I wouldn't have minded, say, 500 cars, but all premium as I can see this divide becoming rather annoying.
Also, the damage was rather "interesting".
I have never liked the A.I in GT games, far too robotic. Doesn't stop me from liking the games as a whole though.
It's "flaw", not "floor".
It's a fairly outlandish attack on videogames, but let's be honest, CoD is American paranoia in pixel form.
rextyrann, Uncharted 2 got a 9.5 from them, let me spell that out for you: n-i-n-e p-o-i-n-t f-i-v-e. Are you really going to complain about that? I personally believe the only "perfect" game this generation is MGS4, and guess what? it got a 10!
Even if it is "another" modern war first person shooter "shooter(?)", with Bioware at the helm, it will be unlike any other.
This is just what I was looking for on N4G, thanks!
xg-ei8ht, you're merely serving to prove Alpha-Male22's point, this is no different to MS's xbox divisions stance on blu ray.
I'm as excited as anyone about GT5, but I can't see how that is "breathtaking".
Please don't mention the term "realism" when referring to any arcade style shooter, neither CoD nor Medal of Honour are anywhere close to "realistic".
Raztad, I hope I will never see the whole premium/standard divide from GT5 in a Forza game (or another GT game for that matter). I would prefer a consistent experience with 500 cars of a high level of detail than 200 premium and 800 standard polished PS2-era models.
