really looking forward to cyberpunk 2077, ghosts of tsushima, death stranding, halo 6, horizon 4, the last night, new splinter cell, borderlands 3, starfield, and hopefully a new killer instinct and banjo game
totally forgot about wild
I doubt Microsoft has the marketing rights for shadow of the tomb raider either as it's trailer showed up on ps4 channel same time as xbox
@Kumakai Don't lie, people shouldn't get their hopes up for Microsoft because they will only be let down, with that said I'm still expecting it to be solid with horizon 4, halo 6, a console exclusive from Capcom and a banjo kazooie remaster or remake if not banjo then battletoads
halo 6 will be 4k 60fps, forza horizon 4 might have a 60 fps mode with dynamic resolution but crackdon 3 has been confirmed 4k 30fps
I totally disagree, quantum break was average, it had a brilliant story but gameplay was very poor and qb is easily remedy's weakest game. I would much rather they made alan wake 2 but they have already confirmed that isn't going to happen. they also said all future games will be multi platform which is why there isn't a quantum break 2
all it proves to me is people didn't realise what they were buying
it's so simple. just do a banjo and kazooie remake along the lines of the recent crash games that would be a guaranteed success. do whatever it takes to make a kotor 3 or kotor remake another guaranteed success
I don't think n64 games hold up as well as snes games. currently playing through a link to the past for the first time and it's amazing
i just try them out. for example i actually preferred to play gears 4 in high graphics mode instead of high frame rate but when playing hitman i much prefer the high frame rate mode as I'm spinning the camera around more
@The_Jackel Don't forget console launch exclusives lol
Microsoft are the kings of PR bullshit
I hate how everyone seems to be trying to force battle royal into their games but to be fair I think crackdown 3 would be absolutely perfect for it, imagine being dropped into the city with random weapons and being able to level up from making kills, that would give people incentive to go out and kill instead of hide till the end. and to make it different from the crowd every building can be destroyed, I think that would be epic but I also know it's too good to be true
the cloud destruction is limited to a small area with two large buildings. It's called wrecking zone, there will be two teams the first team to destroy the others building wins. not sure if this has changed but that's how the multiplayer worked just before it got delayed
@Jinger
There's pressure on these games because Microsoft aren't offering anything else. imagine if state of decay 2 was releasing on ps4, it would be seen as exactly what it is, a really good low budget AA game but instead most people are expecting it to be the next coming of Christ. just to clarify I think sod2 looks really good but I'm not so sure about crackdown 3
@The 10th Rider
agree, totally forgot about wild
I couldn't care less if it's native or checkerboard. if it runs at 60fps any gets anywhere near 4k I will be extremely impressed
just like ever year I will hope to see KOTOR 3 or KOTOR remake and then have my hoped dashed lol. I will settle for banjo kazooie remake
if you only want to see sony games 2018 that list wont be very long. pretty sure spiderman is the only game scheduled for release later this year, no idea what Microsoft have planned for 2018 other than forza horizon 4
halo 4 campaign was ok still a lot of flaws like having to read the books to get the full story of the didact and terrible cod style ending. halo 5 multiplayer was definitely a big step in the right direction but can definitely be improved like all the pointless and horrible armour variants. the story and characters in halo 5 were so bad I literally think it's close to impossible to fix the story now. I will settle for playing the whole game as master chief, being back on a halo ring and ...
