I loved origins but odyssey looks identical and with all the other games coming out i'll probably give it a miss. they definitely need leave it at least a few years between games and make them more varied
horizon 4 looks amazing. forgive me if I'm wrong but xbox has one big exclusive left for this year with horizon 4 as does ps4 with spider man
2019 xbox has crackdown 3, gears of war 4, ori and the will of the wisps and almost certainly forza.
2019 sony has days gone and maybe the last of us 2
isn't spiderman the only major exclusive left for ps4 for the rest of this year. personally I can't wait for horizon 4 and spiderman and with the ridiculous amount of 3rd party games coming out I'm happy with them being the only exclusives.
I was disappointed with the death stranding demo, ghosts of tsushima looked incredible, I hope we don't have to wait too long for it
@AcidDvl
The thing is sony should tell people what games are exclusive as people just assume everything's exclusive like multiple games in the past including nier automata.
Lets be honest here if devil may cry 5 and shadows die twice were shown on sony's stage we would all think they were exclusives so Microsoft made a good choice getting them on their stage
ghosts of tsushima was my game of e3 but there's rumours it's not releasing till 2020 which is a shame
state of decay 3 with as a true AAA experience with amazing visuals and performance could be something really special.
it will be a launch title for the next xbox, guaranteed
it's just so frustrating because that demo they showed looked awesome and 2020 seems so far away
I'm extremely happy they seem to be listening to the fans and going back to the old art style, concentrating on chief and going back to a halo ring but like sd11 said what the hell have they been doing for the last 3 years. some people were expecting it to release this year or at the very least next year and they haven't even got any gameplay to show. looks like it's going to be a next gen game which is frustrating but at least I'm actually excited for a halo game again
this is definitely going to be next gen but what the hell have 343 been doing for the last 3 years?
I'm just so happy the next halo game will go back to the old art style and that the new gears looks different instead of the same copy and paste from the last 5 games. phil pretty much confirmed playground are working on fable 4 as well which is nice. the only things I was hoping for which didn't happen was a banjo remake along the lines of recent crash and spyro games and maybe one new exclusive ip but the over all pretty good conference and the main thing to take away is that the fu...
not just crash and hellblade there's the witness, what became of edith fiinch, no mans sky, outlast. rime, firewatch to name a few. i'm pretty sure final fantasy 7 remake and shenmue will end up on xbox as well and hopefully nioh. i wonder why sony don't advertise these games as timed exclusives
fingers crossed, please please please don't let us down microsoft
that depends on if the new halo and gears look any good
plus when asked about other rare ip in the works, the rare studio head recently said "it's not out side the realm of possibility, but it would have to be the right studio" that to me says there's not currently any rare ip in the works
@GamerDad82 To be fair to crazychris4124 That's pretty much exactly what i'm hoping for. A new AAA exclusive ip that doesn't suck and has plenty of content. i would settle for a new fable even though it's not a new ip but i feel it's way to early to see that
absolutely no chance of a new banjo game, no chance of a new battletoads, no chance of alan wake 2, no chance od dead rising 5, no chance of gears of war rts no chance of perfect dark.
i seriously think your not far off the mark. forza horizon 4, new gears and halo 6 teaser then maybe 1 more exclusive, the rest will be multiplatform or timed exclusive
just give it a rest. this is positive news for all gamers. more game studios = more games
