dead space is easily in my top 10
@XxMajeSteRxX
Let me know what you think. The way I look at it is that as soon as your in motion at 30fps you lose most the benefits of 4k. obviously when your stationary it will look loads better in 4k but as your driving imo it looks way better at 1080p 60fps . HDR is amazing
Totally agree that ACG is the best in the industry. He doesn't give a number score, goes into extreme detail, is totally unbiased and makes the review fun. I don't even need to know if he recommends the game at the end, there's enough information given for me to make my own mind up.
I prefer the performance mode at 60fps on xbox one x
I was interested what others thought on this topic. I'm leaning towards 60fps at the minute. will be interesting to see what corners have been cut to achieve the 60fps on digital foundry. the game looks amazing either way
just interested, what do the people playing on xbox one x prefer. resolution or performance? It's a bit annoying having to restart the game every time you change but I'm leaning towards performance ( high frame rate ) at the minute. I have a really good 4k tv so I just feeling like I'm not utilising my tv though
next Tuesday I think
I really depends on the game for me. I thought hitman was way better in high frame rate mode but preffered to play rise of the tomb raider in high resolution. It depends how much you're in motion as you only really get the full benefits of high resolution when the screen is perfectly still at 30fps. going off of digital foundry I will most likely play this at 60fps
it's got good reviews. currently 78 on metacritic. I class 7.8 a good score. only really gamespot and telegraph newspaper dragging it down which is strange seeing as how gamespot gave rise of the tomb raider a 9. check out ACG review on youtube it's awesome as usual.
not really most critics agree it is either a good game or really good game.
that's why low review scores are a good way to get clicks.
totally agree, if I listened to most critics I would have missed out on games like sod2 which I had loads of fun with. ACG is the only reviewer I know who gives such detailed and entertaining reviews that even if he doesn't recommend it he gives enough info for you to make up your own mind. He also rates games buy, rent, wait for sale or leave which I like
ACG has not let me down yet. His reviews are outstanding. I really can't understand why so many people don't like the new tomb raider games. I wonder if it has anything to do with Microsoft making the last game a timed exclusive.
check out ACG for the definitive review
I really enjoyed the last two games and ACG said it's a BUY so I'm definitely picking it up.
@DeadManMMX to be fair I'm not familiar with any of the comics, I purely going off what I have seen in film. If there's any dark story lines they could take from comics that could be good
superman is such a bland character there's no depth to him at all and he's OP. I would rather rocksteady did any other character other than superman. I always thought iron man would make a good game
ori and guacamelee are two amazing recent examples. really looking forward to the sequels
ps plus absolutely destroyed gwg this month
I would find it almost impossible to make a top 10 list of game just like I would with film or music. Although a few stand out games come to mind like dead space, red dead redemption, halo reach, any dark souls game and orange box. I think halo 3 is just over 10 years old now
