They use RSX in PS3. Not only Cell. RSX could have a major part, or at least a considerable one, in all Folding@Home processing.

I'm a developer and my bets for the new consoles are:
- Motion sensing for all new consoles, maybe a better version with some type of Eye-Toy/Xbox Live Vision and good software to really sense movement. Could be necessary 2 cameras to sensing depth.
- All projects will be cost-oriented, but little tricks to promote a quality graphics will have to occur. Probable use of good ideas like the Xbox 360 Xenos embedded DRAM plus framebuffer logic. No more space for engi...

I have loved some lunch LAN parties in my work about 5-7 years ago. Unreal Tournament (the first version) and Starcraft: Brood Wars ruled almost them all.
I have tried Metal Fatigue (very good ideas for a RTS) and some others games too, but Unreal Tournament and Starcraft are the most played.
now to get their next-gen engine in time to DirectX 11, new cards. This do not means that they will end working on UE3. They will work on both simultaneously.
